Objectively, as an outsider, Allen’s not yet an established guy. As optimistic as we are, between him, and Anderson being a million years old it’s not a terrible spot to at least take his shot

Add that to the fact that our back-up QB was a street FA mid-season and there is some definite logic there.

Not to mention that Anderson has one year and Barkley stinks.

Practice squad for two years.  Then we shall see if he is NFL ready.
