What are your expectations for Allen then because he will be hard pressed to do that. 6700 yards in 22 games. That takes old broken Tyrod like 3 years. 1 2 1

The roster is much improved and the odds of one of these picks making the team are very slim. PS fodder is what I'm hoping for.

I just want to see Oliver rip peoples faces off at this point. Friggin stoked we fixed the 2nd most important position/s in football being the O-line. 2 1

I'll trust you that Watson has 52 in 23. So Watson has outclipped him by .6 TD per game or so. I'd think Allen can get there next year.

You know what they say: it only takes one team to fall in love with a pick. If he recovers, Love can be the best RB of this class. 4th round you can make those gambles. Yeah, people who are anointing Allen and Calling Watson might have want to review things because it means Allen would have to put up Mahomes numbers.

Bookie Man Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 Aw man San Fran snagged that punter I had my eye on. 1

Mahomes had multiple question marks and went to the perfect landing spot. There was nothing "sure fire" about him... http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/patrick-mahomes?id=2558125

Mahomes is an anomaly our outlier. Watson's 22 games played stats are just insane and overlooked by many. 6700 totals yards and 52 TD's in that time span is sick. 2

I'm medium on Watson - I don't think he's a bad QB at all. He has certain traits I admire, and others that I wouldn't prefer. That said, their situations are obviously quite a bit different. Let's try this one: If you put Watson in as the Bills starting QB next year, and Allen as the Texans QB, which one do you think would post better numbers? I think that's legitimately a good question, imo.

Even if he was just a red zone guy his first year, that would be huge value. Is his potential any any less than the TE we took? And at least Butler had a major impact in college. Sorry, just venting because my girlfriend hates the draft. ? Ha ha! No worries, man! No blood; no foul. From a talent standpoint, it's hard to say; Knox has some crazy metrics for his size. In terms of production, Butler wins out, hands down. Our TE cupboard was a lot more bare than our WR stable, though; that had to factor into it. Beane mentioned the drop off after Knox, on their board, was a prime reason they went for him. 1

We’ve got the much better line this year, with less of a gap in weapons. I think we’ll have a better feel for that answer after this season. 1
