Formerly Allan in MD Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 All the talk about getting a TE, WR... We need a linebacker. 1 1 1

MAJBobby Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Risner gone. No more OTs. Highlighting the great move.
1ManRaid Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Would have liked the higher graded Risner, but this is a great pick. Can also play guard (was listed as one) but they announced him as a tackle. Greedy Williams would have been great too.

This OL is light years better than last year. Wrong - Ford to Guard to start. Dawkins stays at LT and Nsekhe to RT. 1
dollars 2 donuts Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 I think old man Shady...is going to be just fine finding holes to run through.

DK is Stephen Hill all over again. Protect your franchise. Let him make plays with his legs and arm. Ford is a starting LG for a decade and can swing to T if needed. Great pick. You get a Qb and build inside out. Was announced as a tackle despite being listed as a guard. Highlight reel also featured him playing tackle.
DCOrange Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Interesting they felt the need to trade up with him and Risner both on the board. OLine is nowhere near as deep as WR in this draft, so it makes sense from that perspective despite my love for DK.

When you invest a high pick in a QB, and build your franchise around him, you protect the guy. Basically the opposite of what the Colts did with Luck. I think the last time I was this happy as a fan was when we blew out the Raiders to make the SB. 2
1st&ten Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Like the pick--Ford or Risner was a good pick here---we'll be running around the right side next year.

This a stupid pick, like the year we passed on Gronk. Speed and size that we needed, total wasted pick and we gave up another pick to do. 2
