junior Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 What kind of running scheme do we run? Man or zone?

I didn't think they needed to draft an O-lineman, much less high, because they signed a bunch of them in FA, and good ones at that who can start at each position and upgrade the guys they'll replace. The question mark was LT because Dawkins had a down year for whatever reason and the pic of him at voluntary workouts was disconcerting. Now with the addition of Ford, who they'll probably give every opportunity to win RT, I think Nsekhe and Dawkins will compete at LT. I just hope they figure out who goes where quickly so they have some time to gel. 2
Buffalo_Gal Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 He's a foot taller than everyone else in the room (or so it seems) 2

Buffalo_Gal Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 Here's another one for those wondering about his number: 3
junior Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 Good article on his style of play here: https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2019/4/17/18309044/nfl-draft-2019-cody-ford-buffalo-bills-oklahoma-scouting-report-offensive-tackle-ranking 1 1
BuffAlone Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 I see a solid 10 year career and multiple honors or accolades coming this kid's way. A mauler and soon to be fan favorite 1
Tipster19 Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 I haven’t read this thread other than the title and I’m sure that this has been said a lot in it but I just watched Cody’s press conference and here’s the first 2 things I can say about him. 1. I would be scared to death to have that guy pissed off at me. 2. Cody looks angry even when he’s not. Hello, NFL, meet Cody Ford. 1
John from Riverside Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 In nearly every mock I saw this guy was a middle first round pick......... I see a very good ORT and OG he literally can play 3 positions.......there was so much buzz about him before the draft and it died off for some reason but you can see it in his play that he is the real deal 1
ghostwriter Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 I think our first three picks are money, the others I'm less sure about but I think Oliver, Ford and Singletary were as good of picks as could be.
aceman_16 Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 I loved his Buffalo video with him and his mother face timing. It shows the respect he has for his family and it looked like he would run through a wall for her!! Good luck young man!!

Rampage Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Ford is an absolute mauler and a steal in the second round. He was a universally graded first round pick. So happy we got him.

I like Knox and he fits a need. Of the rest, I think the defensive players have a chance to stick as those positions are thin. 1
