Logic Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Just wanted to say that I legitimately miss Mike Mayock on the NFL Network Draft Coverage. No one else they have is as good or as knowledgeable as him. ...On the other hand, thanks to Mike Mayock the GM for taking Clelin Ferrell, a move without which the Bills would not have been able to get Ed Oliver. 18 2
Do The Reich Thing Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Trey Wingo is absolutely awful, but Riddick is very impressive imo
JinxedBill1 Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Eisen and mayock were very good. Still think NFL network is the best overall 1
gonzo1105 Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Don’t worry Mayock will be back in 3-4 years 3 5
Do The Reich Thing Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 I need to get off my chest that I found it absolutely gross by ESPN to crap all over the Titans pick right after he was drafted for an incident that happened in 16’. They didn’t even say anything about his ability. 1

IgotBILLStopay Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 He is going to appear on the NFL Network in a couple of minutes.:)
JimKellyTryouts Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 If Mayock had Ferrell as a top 5 player as an analyst, so many media members would easily hop on that bandwagon. Mayock the GM doing this has everyone scratching their head, though. I won't question it, but like you said Logic, I'm glad that the end result gave us a player we really wanted.
ALLEN1QB Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Me too he added a lot of insight to the draft. He says our guys are hard to watch
H2o Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 (edited) I'm sure Raiders fans miss him being on TV, and not in their FO, as well. Edited April 26, 2019 by H2o 1
Logic Posted April 26, 2019 Author Posted April 26, 2019 I started watching NFL Network's draft coverage out of necessity (I get the network as part of my NFL Gamepass membership, but do not have ESPN). I'm so glad I did. It is leaps and bounds better than ESPN's, IMO.
HomeTeam Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Yea, I miss him also. Unfortunately, without him NFL network is to much glitter and not enough substance. I had to switch to the ESPN feed.
qwksilver Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 If he keeps reaching for players he'll back on the network in no time.

Most people don’t like Kiper but I like his knowledge. The on camera Kiper/McShay feud must’ve been real, unfortunately but I liked him, too. Overall, it was OK. I also didn’t like ESPN showing that video. Booger McFarland didn’t add much. There also wasn’t much Adam Schefter and when he got a chance he had no rumors. Afterwards I read something about a decision to not have him give scoops. Did anyone watch the ABC broadcast?
