i'm sorry for starting a thread on this, but if the f.o. really desires to reach up and get someone, i could very well see shaq being a trade chip. i will try to delete this in a couple of hours.

just a gut feeling. several other teams need dt help so..

A low value piece to make a big move at the same position seems unlikely but you never know

Played his best year last season...at 3 million this year..a move would be just plain silly because Murphy is glass.

well for example...let's say atlanta needs dline help. wilkins is there at 9. they tagged grady jarrett but hate like hell to have to pay him. so they trade us jarrett and a 2nd for pick 9 for 14. they get shaq and get a blue collar rookie. we get montez sweat at 14 and a pro bowl dt...which we can afford.  ok my head has been swimming with ideas for months. i can't wait for this to be over.
