RalphWilson'sNewWar Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 Interesting 2007 - Drew Bees/Philip Rivers Miami passes on Drew Brees 2019 - Josh Rosen/Kyler Murray Miami trades for Josh Rosen Dont make the same mistake twice.

Can’t wait to play the fish , there was only one QB that wished BAD THINGS for him especially when we play him , now there’s two
RalphWilson'sNewWar Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 (edited) Kind of wild to think had Arizona drafted Allen, Darnold in 2018. Eitherl now be joining the Dolphins. Edited April 27, 2019 by RalphWilson'sNewWar

I’ve never seen anything like it. also the difference is this - Rosen was though of to be the most “pro ready.” The guy who can start Week 1. The most ready but who has the lowest ceiling. Allen by all account was considered more of a project. A QB who was not ready to start and needed time to develop. The difference is Allen exceed expectations by most and Rosen disappointed. Both had bad supporting casts. Edited April 27, 2019 by BillyWhiteShows 3

Start Rosen until end of Season 2020 Start Rosen and let chips fall. 2021 Play 1st Round QB if everything has failed the previous 2 seasons.

You give the QB that you traded a 2nd pick for a chance to win the competition.

Plus I appreciate the longevity Rosen as Plan B presents over Fitz being the Plan B.

I wouldn’t do it this way. I don’t think Miami considers Rosen their future QB yet. There didn’t draft him and while they traded a 2nd round pick, they are getting a QB on a rookie deal without having to pay any guaranteed money. If you’re Miami you don’t know if he’s the future, so you need to give him as many opportunities in 2019 to find out. If he’s not, you can try again in 2020
Warcodered Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 So wait didn't the Cardinals trade up last year to snake Rosen before Miami got to him? 1 1

Not when considering the QBs in this draft. Rosens issues arent talent they are his attitude and how he copes with things. 1 hour ago, RalphWilson'sNewWar said: Interesting 2007 - Drew Bees/Philip Rivers Miami passes on Drew Brees 2019 - Josh Rosen/Kyler Murray Miami trades for Josh Rosen Dont make the same mistake twice. Allen's production, without an OL, included a lot of running yardage. Rosen is a different kind of quarterback.
WideRightRevenge Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 Steve Smith summed it up on this guy ... can't wait for Ed O, Lorax, Edmunds, and Hughes to pound him 2 times a year
JerseyBills Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 I'd rather play Rosen twice a year, every year over FitzMagic. I know it was a small sample size, but so was Allen last year. I could legit see him being out of the league in 3-5 years. I
Buffalo86 Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 If you believe in veteran QBs mentoring younger players, Fitz would seem to be about as good as it gets. If Rosen isn't a complete knucklehead, he could learn a lot. Hopefully not, though. 1
