bigbill Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I was just wondering if the Bills have enough draft capital to get both Oliver and Hockenson in the draft? Who would you take at 9 with hopes the other player drops to 15, 16 or 17. It seems both players would help to complete the offense and defense. Any thought?
PirateHookerMD Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 The short answer is no, we don't. Both might be gone by 9. You probably already would have to trade up just to get Oliver alone. Zero chance to get both.
JaCrispy Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Probably not...sounds as if Oliver will go top 5...
TOboy Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Only way to do it would be Oliver at 9 I guess and trade back up to the teens for Hock, which likely costs next years 1st.
Augie Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Can we please just put the Cards on the clock already??? 5 2 2
Reed83HOF Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 (edited) There is a path for Oliver, N'Keal and Sternberger 1 minute ago, Augie said: Can we please just put the Cards on the clock already??? They were Sunday - I took Bosa Edited April 24, 2019 by Reed83HOF 1
mrags Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I would hope the Bills don’t even taken Oliver at all. So I would hope they don’t trade up at all to take him anywhere.

Doc Brown Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Seems their stock has gone up in the last month so it's possible neither will be available at 9. Unless you get a QB rush, Oliver should be gone by then.

I like his quick penetration. I don’t like Warren Sapp as a person, but was in the Tampa market when he was causing fits shooting gaps. Time will tell. Neither of our livelihoods are in danger if we guessed wrong. 40 minutes ago, Reed83HOF said: They were Sunday - I took Bosa Please don’t take this too personally, but you don’t count. 1
njbuff Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I hope both get drafted in the top 8........... then.............. the Redskins get desperate in thinking Denver wants the same QB they do and the Skins give the Bills a King's ransom for the 9th overall, meaning........... the Bills trade the 9th overall for 15, Washingtons 2nd rounder and their 2020 first rounder. Talk about making out like bandits. Then hopefully the Redskins are the worst team in the NFL in 2018. .......................... then I woke up and came back to reality. ? 2
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Assuming it fell as you described, likely this years 2nd and 3rd and next years 2nd
Rocky Landing Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Man, all the draft speculation, and hand-wringing is so much more complicated this year! Nice going, Beane!!!
