I love Kool Aid with a nice fat joint

What flavor koolaid?

I like grape.

I haven't had a joint ever though.

I hit the bong a couple of times in college, and a bowl or two.

A blunt here and there in college too, and back in Jamaica 7 years ago.

Been a while though since I've had any ?

So you realistically think 12 wins is going to happen and is a reasonable prediction??

Okay.

Keep drinking that Kool aid

I think my expectation of somewhere between 8 and 12 wins was stated very clearly in an earlier post.

always good to see a bills fan bet against it's team with such certainty.

you could be right, but pounding your chest over it is kind of over the top there.

personally I'd love to see you lose.

no, I'm not that stupid to bet $1,000 they do get 12 wins anymore than I would be stupid enough to bet against them.

have fun with it though

GO BILLS!!!

I would like to see myself lose too...12-4 would get us the division and a home playoff game.

I know what you stated.

I stated clearly as well that 12 is a crazy and unreasonable prediction.

You know how many teams won 12 (or more) last season?

5.

In the entire NFL.

Chiefs (12)

Chargers (12)

Bears (12)

Saints (13)

Rams (13)

That's it.

It's not an easy thing to do.

2017 - 4 teams

2016 - 4 teams

2015 - 5 teams

2014 - 5 teams

2013 - 5 teams

2012 - 4 teams

2011 - 6 teams

2010 - 4 teams

2009 - 4 teams

2008 - 5 teams

That's a decade of seasons.

That's how many teams won 12 or more games in each season.

It's not that common.

People acting like "12 wins, no big deal" need to reevaluate how difficult that # is to achieve.

I had 11-5 before the release, the close out is tough but if they get momentum I can see them doing it.

Could also see them having a melt down to end the season and missing the playoffs but I won't dwell on that right now.

The road to recovery for BBFS sufferers is a long one, my friend...

That scheduling is obscene.

Oakland has 6 weeks away from home LOL

That's what Mike Davis gets for being a sell out.

He and the Raiders are now the NFL''s b!tch

It sure is. I believe even the Kelly led Bills reached 12 wins only 3 or 4 times in his 11 seasons at QB.

Thanks boat!

I think people feel that when somebody says 12 wins is a crazy prediction that they are insulting the bills

The pats **ONLY** won 11 last season.

This is what I'm trying to say.

Making a jump from 6 to 12 wins is really tough and very uncommon.

You're really not making very skilled arguments.

12 teams make the playoffs each year.  You're admitting with your numbers above that at least one-third of playoff teams win 12 or more games each season (4.6, to be precise).  Usually at least two per conference.  In 2011 half of the playoff teams won that much.

If we look at the Bills and think they're a potential playoff team, tell me why again it's "crazy" to suggest they might win 12 games?

I'll hang up and listen.

4.6 teams per season make 12 wins

It's not common

There are 32 teams in the league

That's about 14% of teams in the NFL

Not sure that's what's hard to understand

I never said they can't make the playoffs

I said 12 is hard to achieve and not just "oh no big deal"

The Chargers are the same   6 weeks away from LA

it could also mean they have multiple 3 game home stretches

All of their games are “away” games ?

hell bent, aren't you.

don't worry, if they don't get 12 you can come back and throw the "I told you so" dirt around.

meanwhile, no harm in believing they can.

enjoy the season

No harm in being realistic either.

It's a thread discussing win predictions.

Making unrealistic predictions is going to get a reaction.

Maybe we can make a "safe space positive only thread" where we can give out rides on unicorns and cuddle.
