Koko78
Quote Charlie says his parents told him that they destroyed the entire collection. A collection that consisted of over 12 moving boxes full of movies. ... The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office was eventually called about the destroyed items. Charlie filed a police report estimating the value of his collection to be $28,940.72. Here's a picture of the guy:
Shamrock
Hard to return comment when you’ve tied yourself up in a gimp suit and enjoying Mrs Palmers company. Wonder why his wife left, he seems completely normal? That said, there’s a guy who’s a friend of a mate of mine- actually their wife’s are, that collected Dr Who episodes. He has an original 1st recording that apparently not even the BBC had. Made some $ from it. is porn comparable to Dr. Who lost tapes? I suspect having met his wife, he’d trade some tapes with that other guy.

RaoulDuke79
I thought movies went the way of the albatross once the internet perfected porn in 7 minute clips.

Riiiight. I'm sure he was fully compensating them for storage and delivering his belongings, just like he had fully compensated them for staying in their house. The 'story' was nothing more than a recap of the loser's lawyer's laughably absurd accusations.

What if the parents were anti gun liberals and decided to turn the guns into the police instead of returning them to him when he moved as they had already agreed to. I was responding to the statement about the First Amendment. I just said that it's not a First Amendment issue. But if you want to bring up the agreement, this was also in the article: Quote Charlie's father said in one email that his son was allegedly kicked out of high school and college for selling porn to other students. Saying in the documents, "I also warned you at that time if I ever found pornography in my house again, I would destroy it." I’m not following your logic that a parent and/or landlord has an obligation to store someone’s crap after the person moves out. Quite obviously there was no ‘agreement’ to store this property. Doesn’t matter if it’s porn, guns or Cheetos.
