Bing Bong Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 Johnny Football said exactly not to ****ing do this! Listen to the new voice of AAF reason
MrEpsYtown Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 The Bills should sue him because they were misled and defrauded when they thought he had talent. 1
C.Biscuit97 Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 He’s suing a brand new football league because he wasn’t good enough for the nfl? Honestly, if you’re playing in that league, it’s 99.9% over for you in football. Just be happy you got a little cash.
LABILLBACKER Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 I'd like to sue Colton for 34 yard punts.....? 1
Beast Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 I’m suing him for having a great football name but wasting that on a punter.

Westside Madness Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 For the bulk of you that didn't read the article: "It's not true that the contracts are non-guaranteed," Treyzon continued. "Players can be cut for performance, they cannot be cut because the guys didn't have the financial backing." They are alleging that the contracts were non-guaranteed and could be terminated due to performance. I am assuming there wasn't language around the league going under. There is also the argument about the 'spirit' of the contract. Being signed on the premise of 3 years at 250k, there is likely a reasonable expectation of employment past 8 weeks. However, the best I see this doing is pushing expectation to 1 year...which is 2 more game checks. So, their first argument is a better angle.

JoPar_v2 Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 The players involved in this are basically claiming fraudulent inducement correct? Serious question I haven’t had a chance to read much about this.
