Gavin in Va Beach Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Yeah, I have flashbacks to Jeff Burris when I watch punt returns, but that's like always using the bad china while the new set is in the attic. What's the point of having a guy like that if you're not going to use him where he can make a big impact? He can't get hurt on any given play at CB? Can't keep him preserved in amber, yaknow, and if it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen. 293232[/snapback] When he's playing corner 11 big men aren't running like hell at him hoping to hit him hard enough to put him in an ICU...
Simon Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I want y'all to remember this next year when a fake punt or a throwback return blows up in his face at a crazy time in the game. He had a lucky season and I like him a lot, but he's also crazier than a shlthouse rat and its only a matter of time 'til one of those dice rolls comes up snake eyes. Not to mention he's one of them Pittsburgh rejects who TD should stay away from.
ChevyVanMiller Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I'm happy for Bobby, but why in the world would the ST coaches wait until the end of March to announce an award for last season? Maybe Dorenbos still has a shot at longsnapper of the year when it is awarded on Flag Day.
BuckeyeBill Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Very well deserving. I think he did a better job than any Special Team Coach in memory.... EVER. He took an average Special Teams unit, and made it the best... BY FAR!! Way to go BA
