BillsfaninSB Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Give your version of the best case scenario for the upcoming draft. Aim high but be fairly realistic. Focus on just the first three rounds maximum. Trade up, trade down, stay put or some combination of all.
CommonCents Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Trade down to 30 with GB. Get an extra second and third. Draft Risner, Tillery, Butler, Sanders. Trade both 3rds to get back into the second for Butler or Sanders whoever you didn’t get with your second rounders. 2
LabattBlue Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 1 - The Bills pick some players 2 - They sign contracts 3 - They make the team 4 - Some of them become quality starters 4
White Linen Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Pick a great player at 9 - trade back up in the first and get Allen another weapon. 1

Beane should be fired on the spot for making that deal. Edited April 8, 2019 by CaptnCoke11 3 1

Quick glance at the chart and it’s close. I didn’t even check before hand. OP said just include top three rounds. Toss in an additional day 3 pick and the deal wouldn’t be far fetched.
Charlottebillsfan2 Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Draft the rookie of the year, add 4 starters that contribute, add depth with the other 6.
Kirby Jackson Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 I guess for me it involves players slipping a little. Oliver at 9 feels like an easy decision if he’s there (which he may or may not be). It would be great to see Fant or DK fall to the 2nd. I don’t think it’s likely but this is best case. In the 3rd get Jaylon Ferguson and trade back up for Devin Singletary. Something like that would be great IMO. 1
ghostwriter Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 1. Hock 2. M. Brown Line should be OK at this point, as should defense. 1
glazeduck Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 (edited) 0. Quinnen Williams falls to 5 (because several QBs are traded up for and taken at the top) 1. Bills trade #9, 2019 3rd rd. pick & 2020 3rd rd. pick for #5 to draft Williams. 1b. Bills trade #40 & one of our 4th rd. picks into the late 20s to draft a big WR (order of preference: DK, Butler, Harry) 3. Trade other 4th rd pick & both 7s to get best available TE (if one of top Hock, Fant, Irv, Sternberger, Dax, Knox, Warring, Oliver or Mack are there); Tytus Howard or Nate Davis if not 5. Best available Edge rusher 6. Elijah Holyfield Edited April 8, 2019 by glazeduck
Pete Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 The Bills trade back to Washington, gain second round pick, Ed Oliver slide to us. We land Jaylon Ferguson and Irv Smith in second round. Miles Sanders in 3rd, we trade up and take Dru Sumia, we draft Anthony Johnson, and then concentrate on depth and special teams with remaining picks. Ansah gets healthy, and signs 1 year prove it deal 1
BillsfaninSB Posted April 8, 2019 Author Posted April 8, 2019 Get Hock at 9. Trade to get two picks in the second to get Dexter Lawerence and Harry.
BuffAlone Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Oliver at 9 N'Keal Harry at 40 Miles Sanders 3rd rd Jaylon Ferguson & Nate Davis in the 4th 1
LSHMEAB Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Oliver or Burns at 9, M/H Brown or Parris Campbell in the 2nd/Isaac Nauta in the 4th/Tyre Brady in the 6th or 7th.
TOboy Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Best case? Somehow Q Williams falls to 9 after a couple teams move up to grab a QB. Bills run to the podium and grab him. After watching Hock drop to the early 20’s the Bills move up and nab him too. Likely? Nope. Possible? Hey, you asked for best case. 1 1
Logic Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 (edited) Bills trade down to 15 and pick up a 2nd round pick. Bills draft TJ Hockenson at 15, use their two 2nds to trade back into late 1st for a sliding Christian Wilkins. In the 3rd, they select WR Riley Ridley. Edited April 8, 2019 by Logic 6
BuffAlone Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 I will alter my voice... Oliver in the 1st Risner in the 2nd Miles Sanders in the 3rd Jaylon Furgeson & Miles Boykin in 4th? 3
wppete Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Draft LB, Devin White at # 9 trade back into the mid first round and draft DT, Christian Wilkins.
mrags Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Trade back to the mid teens (Washington) and pick up a 2nd and 4-5th 1st round draft Christian Wilkins DT use some picks to move back into the low 20s. The 2nd rounder from wash, and 4th along with a pick next year. 1st round Draft Brian Burns DE 2nd round draft Harry, AJ Brown, or Butler (in that order) WR 3rd round draft Jaylon Ferguson DE 4th round draft L.J. Scott RB 5th round draft Anthony Williams WR 6th round draft Jacques Patrick RB assuming we’ve dealt any additional picks for the trades. If not, draft the best OL or DB available. Unless you get a shot to draft Tyree Jackson somewhere.
