Can’t let the other kids have a turn?  ?

People will drop off. I got in on the final one last year which I believe went 3 rounds. There will be openings.

......and if there are no shows then those spots should open up for the next draft.

If the same folks are kept the spots should be adjusted an arbitrary number (+/- 5 ?) to mix it up.  Same people in same spots will most likely yield the same results.

Thanks to @Virgil for coordinating this draft.

Agreed and understood, and there’s no interest on my part in participating.  I just found it less than accommodating that ‘Chuck Wagon’ there figured he is the ‘end all and be all’ for the Colts in mock drafts here at TSW.

Based upon how we ran things last year, that's what we did.  Some people had the same team the whole time, some traded off.   But thanks for the input "Ridgewaycynic2013".

Considering none of us are real fans of the teams we are running, consistency allows posters to dig in and understand the teams, who they are bringing in on visits, etc.  But thanks for implying I'm up to no good.

With your explanation, I see the rationale behind the consistency aspect.  I merely looked upon the situation as letting a few other (interested and capable) forum members participate.

I think the same people keeping the same teams is lame.  Unless you trade, you’re more than likely to select the same players.  I have the Vikings in this draft.  I prefer to choose a different team.

The posters that have teams with multiple picks also get to have more fun.  Mix it up imo

Team Executives ... feel free to use this as an intro to your pick ?

Love this sounder. When I get to the age when I need to start taking Viagra, this is the sound effect I'm going to use to let the wife know that things are 'looking up'

If you think the average user "needs" it you obviously haven't tried it. I don't know what % of users "need" it but I wouldn't be surprised if it is under 5% at this point-the product is mainly recreational these days.

Yes and no. We will do more rounds and people will split teams picks.

You’re right.  I’m going to move on

Correct, no trades

With the 1st overall pick, the Arizona Cardinals select Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma.

@TheBeane is on the clock

If I'm still Arizona . . . with the First Pick of the First Round, Arizona selects Kyler Murray, Quarterback from the University of Oklahoma.

So is the pick you think they will make or the pick you would make as GM?  Why Murray for #1?

Both. Under almost any coach I think the GM would given Rosen another shot but the hire of Kingsbury signaled that they would quickly move in another direction.  I just don't think Rosen is a Kingsbury guy and the coach would lobby hard for Murray.  Under a different coach I think they keep Rosen and draft Bosa.

Edit: I'd add, I think Kingsbury will be flash in the pan and hiring mistake.

Thanks. I agree that Kingsbury will be replaced in a few years.  He was not overly successful in college so I expect less in the pros.
