Bray Wyatt Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 It feels very 4th of the July-ish, but not in a good way
LabattBlue Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Whenever I see a hat like this, I can only come to the conclusion that they have never heard of the KISS principle. 1
YoloinOhio Posted April 2, 2019 Author Posted April 2, 2019 (edited) Quote If you’re from Buffalo, you know all about the 13 electric flashes on the city’s flag. oops- im from Buffalo and didn’t even know there was a “city flag” Last year New Era decided to feature team slogans on the front, and the group kept the local theme this year. One thing that really stands out: these hats, more often than not, give off the vibe of “you have to be from here to get it.” “This idea as we go through to celebrate the past of the NFL and innovation of where it’s moving, we really wanted to start with where the game began within each local community,” Ryan DiNunzio, New Era’s director of football, says. “It’s a unique way to say this is where we started, this is who we are, this is what we’re about, this is the community we represent. At the same time it tells a separate story of welcoming a new member into that community. Really trying to tell this message of this is where we’re going, this is who we represent and welcome into the community.” Edited April 2, 2019 by YoloinOhio
Just Joshin' Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 I can not decide I like it or not. Would most likely not purchase unless discounted.
CodeMonkey Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 The NFL never misses an opportunity to extract money from its fanbase. 1

Edit...for the record, I had no idea the city of Buffalo had their own flag either. Edited April 2, 2019 by Maybe Someday 1 1
JESSEFEFFER Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Too much blue. Needs a better balance of the three colors, imo. Something like the team logo on a white front with a white bill/blue bolts and red stars. I hated the blue on blue home uniforms of a decade ago. Wrong shade of blue and they looked like pajamas. 1

BuffaloFan32 Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 looks a lot like the hat Tyrod Taylor designed for New Era a few years ago... https://www.nflshop.com/mens-buffalo-bills-new-era-royal-tyrod-taylor-designed-9fifty-adjustable-hat/p-35614351407717+z-9238-2519900491 2
JXCOL3 Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 I can't get myself to buy these draft hats, they are just awful, year after year. 1
