I honestly think I’m going to make my first professional bet. Not sure how that works.

I can’t see less than 7 wins this year

Bet they will win more than 6 - the over

Massachusetts now has sports betting.  Last I seen- Vegas had the odds of Buffalo winning SB 100-1 and AFC 65-1.  I am not sure what Mass offers.  But I would like to get in on those odds before the draft.  6 wins over is a gift!  We play Miami twice

Massachusetts does not have sports betting yet. Twin River Casino, which does offer sports gambling, is in Rhode Island.

The stations app has Kyler Murray -500 to be the #1 pick.  Take advantage.  Some other sites have it at -2000

That's MayWeather/McGregor territory. Now THAT was the best bet I've ever seen at -400.

Oh man.  I couldn’t sway my wife to allow me to bet my life savings on that one.  Made myself a g, but I really wanted to bet my life on that one.  50-0 vs 0-0.  Free money.

The ONLY way that bet loses is if Mayweather gets hurt or some other bizarre occurence. But I digress.

NYS isn't going to legalize sports betting anytime soon, at least until they figure out how to regulate the industry so the state can generate revenue from the venture

...Guido Cuomo will be on that cash cow quick....thank God we're not in PA......brutal....our company had to get licensed by PA Gaming Commission to do construction work in the casinos.....$12,000 application fee...had to go through TWO NYS Police and PA State Police background checks, fingerprinting, FBI background check and a one hour "face to face" interview with examiners as well as providing personal financial statement, etc.....NYS has nothing like that..any company wanting to enter the sports gambling business in PA has to submit to these rigors......examiners are flying to Europe because companies there want entry into PA sports gaming market.....

Both fighters made me sweat out the first few rounds.  Conor executed his gameplan early while it seemed Floyd was just in there to tire out the Irishman and seal the deal late.

I enjoyed it much more more than I thought I would’ve.

Just waiting to see who Terrence Crawford fights after Kahn.  While I can’t see Crawford losing,  I don’t feel comfortable laying -1000 vs Kahn.

Rather than get angry, why not just get a bet down?

Exactly. I'm about to put a very large sum on the over for Buffalo, it's completely legal here in Jersey. We literally had 1 significant loss out of 53 players (Kyle Williams)  and made huge improvements on OL,WR and QB. I say QB because Peterman started the year and Allen looked great after week 9 . We are legit playoff contenders imo.

The totals are more about how teams are perceived by the country. Most non Bill fans perceive us as a losing team . Most Bills fans know that's b.s. Elite defense still intact , with major upgrades to ST and O , plus a weaker schedule.

This is Easy $$$ , over 6 wins.

This type of thinking makes me think Vegas knows something the fans don’t, myself included.

But generally these total O/U always are between 11 and 4 even though every year some teams win 12,13, even 14 and some 3, 2, and even 1 or 0.

Here’s tomorrow’s Shtupp and the Bulldog’s topic for a segment or two.

You mean how they would be surprised if they won 4 games let alone over 6?

Their purpose is not to NAIL the number. Their purpose is to get equal action on both the over and the under. The casual fans will bet over's and big bettor's are generally looking for under's. The Bills could win 12 games or they could win 4. Let's hope it's in the 9-11 range.

I wish NYS would hurry up and get sports betting up and running,  I know Vegas knows all but I'd still take that over

Atlantic City has sportsbooks now.

Take a little vacation.

The one inside Resorts and Tropicana are very nice.

Brings back memories from a few weeks ago when people were giving me crap for saying the over under would probably be 5.5-6.5.

We have the "Offended by Vegas predictions" thread every year. If you were outraged by last season's low win prediction and made a wager, you lost.

Just walk away. Sportsbooks are built on exploiting homerism.

not really.
