Reed83HOF Posted March 28, 2019 Author Posted March 28, 2019 (edited) “I have informed Mr. Kraft and Coach Belichick that I am stepping down from my position at the Patriots,” Schiano said. “This is not the result of any one event, but rather a realization that I need to spend more time on my faith and family. I don’t want to look back years from now and wish I had done things differently. Therefore, I am taking time away from the game to recalibrate my priorities.” https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/03/28/greg-schiano-resigns-as-patriots-defensive-coordinator/ I bet he got a tug as well...or gave one (not that there is anything wrong with that) Edited March 28, 2019 by Reed83HOF 1 6

YoloinOhio Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 we never got the chance to see him walk his LBs up to the LOS in an “ultra sophisticated” move no one would understand! 1 4

RalphWilson'sNewWar Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Wow. Never liked or understood the fit of Schiano as Pats D Coordiantor. Grown accustom to seeing Bellichick Line those positions with Youthful Coaches with new ideas. Not old dogs set in their way. huh go figure. So in a move where a coach leaves the Pats...I actually think this is a better decision for them then had Schiano stayed. 1
