Kirby Jackson Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 He’s going to be right. Devin White is going to be an absolute superstar. Put on the tape vs. Auburn from 2017 and you’ll be blown away. 5

gonzo1105 Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 I don’t think they would take him but I dont like this mentality of a player. Plus I think it hurts him saying something like this. He’s basically saying after 5 years you might not have me anymore 3 1

He’s basically saying after 5 years you might not have me anymore Dude hasn’t earned a fricken thing in this league and he’s already proclaiming his greatness? I don’t care how good he is or how good he ends up being, his confidence has crossed the line into arrogance. Looking forward to his “welcome to the NFL” moment. Hopefully, he will be humbled. 5 1
ProcessAccepted Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 Not the smartest move to make statements like that before the draft. He's showing about the same level of maturity and thoughtfulness as Ko Simpson did with his comments 5 1

CJ Mosley set the market ...nothing like setting your 2nd bar BEFORE even playing a down.....gotta love the "humility and respect" for the game...another self-entitled millennial stumping.....draft 'em Gettleman...your new OBJ II....... 1
aristocrat Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 If he falls to us him and Edmonds running around killing people would be a lot Of fun. Oh and Milano. 2

Plus I think it hurts him saying something like this. He’s basically saying after 5 years you might not have me anymore I don’t take it like that at all. I take it as “in 5 years I’m going to be one of the best players in football at this position.” I agree with him 100% on this. This time last year, I banged the table for Darius Leonard. He was a modern LB because of his insane athleticism. White is the exact same way. I would MUCH rather have a guy that thinks he’s going to be great than a guy that hopes to be average. White is a great guy, beloved at LSU and a future star. I have no issues with anything he said. Whoever gets him is going to be thrilled. 6
YoloinOhio Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 Jets are ready to sign him for 200 mill 2 11 1
Kirby Jackson Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 The ironic thing is that he is a TOTAL Buffalo guy. Everyone read one article and are calling him a diva. He’s about as blue-collar as they come. He’s the exact opposite of what some of you are saying. I’d love to hear from @CajunBillsBacker on this. Obviously, I follow LSU pretty closet being here but not like him. He’s a season ticket holder and a diehard. 4
KD in CA Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 He sounds motivated. I wouldn’t have a problem with him. 1
Your Brown Eye Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 Good, that means he'll be motivated to be great! I'm ok with that!
LSHMEAB Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 I don't know. I guess I like guys who believe in themselves enough to expect to come in and dominate. We really need to get over this whole humility thing. Behind every great athlete is an even greater ego.
Bakin Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 If he’s available at 9 I would most certainly have him near the tippy top of my list. Thats a ridiculous potential LB core.
Foxx Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 $100mm?? so, he is going to be an average LB? at the rate things are going...
frostbitmic Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 If he plays as good as he thinks he'll play, in five years he'll be worth a $100 million contract. In the meantime you'd have him for four years on a rookie deal.
