This is lazy spin even by your standards. You're wrong. Again. And underlining your error by doubling down on dishonesty. (Time for another screenname change) And what is the nature of the bills? Do they address any of the issues that are begging to be resolved or are they more like this one? https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/116/hr36 1

They can pass all the bills they want, but if they don't get passed, then you have to ask yourself, "Why do it?" Because when someone says Congress isn't doing anything but investigating Trump, the most simple-minded of their constituents can say "Not true! They're working to fund a study to designate the Emancipation National Historic Trail, "and for other purposes!" For other purposes, dammit! It's legislation that matters for other purposes! And there's at least two reaffirming that Native Americans live on reservations.

McGee Return TD Posted July 22, 2019 Posted July 22, 2019 Whoa somehow congress worked together to pass a budget the same week as Mueller's testimony
B-Man Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 WaPo, Politico: You know Mueller-mas will be a bust (again), right? Plus: THEY’RE STRAINING THE MEANING OF THE WORD ‘BUDGET’: Budget deal likely to include few or no cuts while lifting debt limit for two years.

Whatnot78 Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Some places in DC will have "Mueller Time"... https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/watch-muellers-testimony-in-the-most-dc-fashion-possible-boozy-brunch/65-0e473560-82a2-4dc8-bb5d-509391a74975 The gist... You can watch from the comfort of your office or home…or you can watch from a local watering hole. Duffy’s Irish Pub is already planning a full party. According to their Facebook event, they are planning to have a full menu with drink specials, and are encouraging “creative attire.” Hawk N Dove (329 Pennsylvania Avenue SE) said they will also be opening early, at 8:30 a.m. Their manager Angela said they’re planning to do all-you-can-drink bloody Marys and mimosas for $20 a person. Shaw’s Tavern (520 Florida Avenue NW) will be open at 8 a.m. ahead of the hearings, serving breakfast and lunch. They said bar service will be available starting at 11 a.m. The Midlands DC (3333 Georgia Ave NW) said they didn’t have exact details yet – and wanted to make sure the hearings aren’t postponed again – but plan to have custom-made Mueller Time coozies and drink deals. They said they were planning to open at 8:30 a.m. with nitro cold brew and juices, then will start serving alcohol at 10 a.m. In an email, staff suggested picking up a bagel at Call Your Mother Deli next door and bringing it in to watch the testimony. Union Pub (201 Massachusetts Ave NE) said they will open at 9 a.m. - per their operating license - and will be running a bunch of specials with full bar and kitchen service. In an email, staff said they plan to have $6 Moscow Muellers, $4 select rye whiskey, $4 UP lager draft, $4.45 rails and $13 Budweiser/Bud Light buckets. 1 1 2
Deranged Rhino Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Corn thinks you're too stupid to remember his earlier premises, and just how deeply involved in the coup he was/remains. Because... per Corn: It's no big deal if a FISA warrant (the most powerful and invasive type of warrant/surveillance in existence) was fudged. It's no big deal if the Steele dossier, which the FISA was based on, was known to be bunk and Russian disinformation paid for by a political rival. It's no big deal that the head of the FBI-CID and a key legal counsel within the FBI were cutting corners and trying to find a crime by hook or by crook. And of course it's no big deal that people like Corn for three years promised the country that Trump/Russia collusion/conspiracy was real and Trump was a treasonous Russian asset inside the oval office... Priceless. 2
