The quality of the defensive tackles and ends is very high in this draft 2

DUH!! I don't get that FA is the preference based on how this tweet is worded. 1

I think it’s obvious are looking at DL in the draft - they are looking at everything except QB and have tons of picks. But some thought that they might be done in FA after not signing Ansah (yet)... the interesting point of the interview is that he said they aren’t done trying to address it. Whether they sign anyone, tbd Expand I believe he said he was in a holding pattern right now and they were likely done looking at FA DL at this point, but maybe after the draft (seems like he was open to picking up someone who might be available via trade or getting cut as a result of a team drafting a younger player). 1 1

Expand He said there are a couple other guys, in addition to Ansah (whether they sign him or not) who they are looking at and in a holding pattern (like with Ansah). Sounds like he’s waiting for their price to come down - and won’t overpay to get them before the draft
