I think that we both can agree that 6-8 wins would be quite depressing. As long as Allen shows improvement, I don't think I'll be depressed. I just think the Bills still have a pretty long ways to go personally. 51 minutes ago, Chris66 said: I think vegas comes in at 8- 8.5. That would be a tough bet at 8.5 either way. I would guess Buffalo's O/U will be 5.5-6.5. As is, their Super Bowl odds are like 5th or 6th lowest in the NFL; there's no way it's going to be 8-8.5 unless they acquire like the first five picks in the draft. 3

Optimism versus science when the average fan runs into Vegas win totals. Watched it first hand year after year. The Blanks only need to win 6 games and I win? Eeeeeasy money. The real bettors are constantly looking for unders regardless of the sport. If I had to BET on a specific number of Bills victories, I'd go with 7. That seems like an insult, but it would actually be an OVER as it pertains to O/U. Edited March 21, 2019 by LSHMEAB
hondo in seattle Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Every offensive position group is better than it was this time last year. 9-7. 1

Over the last 20 or so years, I usually expected the Bills to improve until I watched them bungle draft after draft. This year I have high hopes at quarterback. With a strong draft and of course no serious injuries to Allen, I think that they will go higher than 7.

There's no doubt the Bills have a chance to win 10, even 11 games if the defense continues to play well and most importantly, Allen takes a big leap. Having worked in sportsbooks for many years, I tend to view predictions through a different lens. 1 1
Daisy days Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 (edited) 10-6 with a wildcard go to New England and Josh Allen throws for 360 yards and 4tds to put an end to the era and preserving the Bills being the only team to go to 4 strait super bowls and then throws the ball out of Gillette all the way to one Bills drive Edited March 21, 2019 by BoldBully
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 I always want to predict 10-6 or better Are Josh's eyes closed? Is he seeking a higher wisdom by touching Saint Thomas? 1 hour ago, Chris66 said: I think vegas comes in at 8- 8.5. I feel no need to change this. 6-10. Consistency establishes your reputation..... Don't be a Debbie Downer I'm impressed ....... Last season we would have seen half a dozen 4 win projections.
Augie Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 I’ll be very disappointed if it’s not at least 9 games, and I’m happy at 10. Any more and I’m thrilled!
Happy Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Good post by the OP, 9-7 sounds about right at this early juncture, though 10-6 is not out of the question. I think McD will really start to be scrutinized if they are 8-8 or worse, as he should be.

Matt Parrino is calling for a split with the pats. I have my doubts about that one. http://expo.newyorkupstate.com/sports/g66l-2019/03/470e89ce66cd4/buffalo-bills-2019-schedule-gamebygame-predictions-playoffs.html This is a tough question and I found myself thinking about this in past couple of days. We have gotten better there's no doubt but I see about 12 teams in the AFC that are gonna battle for 6spots . So basically we have to beat out 4 other teams for 1 of 2 wildcard spots. AFC East, Pat's, Bills , Jets North Browns, Steelers, Ravens South Colts, Texans, Jags, Titans West Chiefs, Chargers That's 12 teams competition will be tough. I'm thinking Allen must take a huge leap forward if we are to compete and win 10-11 gms.
saundena Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 I expect about 8 wins. Honestly, I'd love to say we get 9 or 10, but the Jets are similar to us, they are young and improving (on paper). Their coach might be a bit of a question mark, but they do have real talent and Darnold was marvelous against us in the 4th quarter. And then there's the Pats. Until Brady/Belicheat go, they are the class of the league and probably will beat us both times. I've said all along that 2020 is our year.
ngbills Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Somewhere between 0-16 and 16-0. Ok - I will narrow that range down to 3-13 and 13-3.
LABILLBACKER Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Realistically 9-7 and 3-3 in the afce. Josh isn't the only one who needs a little more time to grow. Players like Edmunds, White and this years draft class will need one more season. There will be improvement with the Bills this season, but it will be 2020 where we win 11 games and easily make the playoffs. 1
skibum Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 20-0. The Chiefs, Chargers, and Bills all go undefeated, but the Bills don't get a bye because of strength of schedule. Then they run the table in the playoffs. History is made.
MacGyver Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 It's way too early for this, but 6-10 is always a good bet. Need to at least get through the pre-season before one can get a feel. However even pre-season games can fool fans.
buffaloboyinATL Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 I really depends on the draft to me. I personally believe we will contend for the division/play-offs this year but I need to see all the pieces in place (including the schedule) before I make any predictions on the record. 1 hour ago, ShadyBillsFan said: I Are Josh's eyes closed? ndirish1978 Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 (edited) Looks like we could go 10-6, so I'll say 9-7 just cause there's always at least one game that swings the wrong way. Edited March 21, 2019 by ndirish1978 1
auburnbillsbacker Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 7-9 next season then playoffs in 2020 if they stick with the current regime. If they start over after not making the playoffs next season they will be spinning their wheels again.
