Haloti Ngata retires from NFL atop Mount Kilimanjaro

In an Instagram post, Ngata stood on top of Mount Kilimanjaro -- the world's tallest free-standing mountain -- with a banner that read, "I'm retiring from the NFL on top."

"Free-standing mountain?"

As opposed to those held up with buttresses and cable stays?

Gotta admit. That was one of the times the board was right.  People were banging the table for Ngata.  He had a really solid career.

Right? And isn't Everest the tallest?  Did I drink too much yesterday?

As opposed to the one I live on which, if you measure from its base which is at the bottom of the ocean, is easily the tallest mountain on earth.

As a Bills fan, you are probably better off going from the tailbone. I know I am.

But it's not free standing, because the ocean holds it up...

I clearly remember pretty much every Bills fan back before that draft lobbying for him. Funny how a lot of the time the fans really do seem to know more than the idiots in charge. It pains me to call Marv an idiot (pretty sure he chose Whitner) but in that case it's hard to argue against

I think it's safe to say that Levy's forte was not player selection, especially at that advanced age.

Doesn't negate what he did as a coach, but those were some awful drafts.

As opposed to ones that are part of a mountain range.  But thanks for playing.
