With Morse’s concussion history I’m hesitant to do that in case Long ends up starting at one of the Guard spots and can’t back him up

I can understand that, but i think the O-line spots will be full b4 they can say keep him

edit - actually forget that...I could see these as the linemen:

Morse - OC

Bodine - OC

Long - OG/OC

Teller - OG

Feliciano - OG

Nsehke - OT

Waddle - OT

Dawkins - OT

A potential trade for Bodine? I don't want to cut Bodine for nothing.

I think Morse, when healthy is a heck of a center.

I want Bodine as a backup given Morse injury history.

But if a need at C, like this becomes available, would you trade him to the Saints, who now have a need at C?

Sucks for the Saints; window of opportunity is closing on them.  Not in favor of trading Bodine, who might be needed this year.

Morse is a Texas kid who has spent his entire life in Big 12 country.  Really glad the ink is dry on that contract, I'm not sure if the Saints would have pursued him given their cap situation but that might have been a tough fight.

That sucks for the Saints.

Trade Bodine for their second.  Draft top center with that pick.  Or trade back into first and do it.  I think the Nc State kid can play Guard also.

Groy mau be the best FA left for them.
