RB's are a dime a dozen behind a decent O-Line...picking one in the 3rd....not my cup o joe.... Average running backs are a dime a dozen. Above average to good running backs, not so much. You definitely don’t take one in the first 2 rounds. Rounds 3-6 are the sweet spot for a RB. I’m all for taking one in the 3rd. If you look at the good RB’s in the league, most were actually drafted. The only notable exception is Phillip Lindsay, but we will see if he can replicate his freshman season. 1
Virgil Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 As of now, it’s never too early for a mock draft. I’m hoping to do our board one soon

But with a core of Milano, Edmunds and White, man. You have speed to cover anyone and the ability to tackle anyone. 1

I think I’d still have to go Oliver, but maybe I just don’t know enough about White. It wasn’t long ago that Oliver was thought to be a top 3 guy. He’s really the one I hope falls to us. Having said that, I trust the powers that be to decide if he just might be a headcase. That “coat tantrum” stuff was weird all around.

(Guess I’ll have to settle for hoops conference tournament week!)
wppete Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 This is what I got using the draft simulator. It was stressful hahahaha https://thedraftnetwork.com/mock-draft-machine 9 Montez Sweat , EDGE Mississippi State 40 Jeffery Simmons , IDL Mississippi State 74 Sean Bunting , CB Central Michigan 112 Damien Harris , RB Alabama 131 Mecole Hardman , WR Georgia 147 Khalen Saunders , IDL Western Illinois 158 Chuma Edoga , OT USC 181 Max Scharping , OT Northern Illinois 225 Bryce Love , RB Stanford 228 Jalen Hurd , WR Baylor 2
Chuck Wagon Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 I want one of Bosa / Quinnen Williams / Ed Oliver / Josh Allen / Devin White at #9. Maybe Sweat. Then one more high quality lineman and otherwise skill position on day 2 / early day 3
