A woman "forced" to cover up her “inappropriate” outfit on a flight has been left “mortified” by her experience.

Emily O’Connor, 21, from Solihull, claimed Thomas Cook staff threatened to remove her from a flight she boarded from Birmingham to Tenerife.

Oh and

Hell ya I would

To say Generation Z'ers are over-dramatic may be the understatement of the century.  "Mortified" over it, g the f outta here.

Okay... let's see you get kicked off your flight for wearing normal clothes and see how you react.

Maybe you'll choose a different word than "mortified," but your reaction would probably be the same.

I'm guessing you're not a hot chick, though, so no one will care. ?

That is honestly dumb.Girls at my school wear WAY less, and this is a free country were we’re able to wear whatever we want so this invasion of privacy is very inappropriate

Airlines are free to impose whatever dress codes they want.

This is stupid though.  And yes, she's being a touch overdramatic for her 15 seconds of fame.

Bupkis.   Anybody that gets tossed off a plane is going to be "mortified."    How about saying "get off my lawn" while you're at it...

cause (someone) to feel embarrassed, ashamed, or humiliated.

"I'd be mortified if my friends found out I was learning ballroom dancing"

  2. 2.
subdue (the body or its needs and desires) by self-denial or discipline.
"return to heaven by mortifying the flesh"

Hum...always felt that mortified was a much stronger word than simple embarrassment.  Guess I was off a bit, fair enough.

This didnt happen in the US, at least not from what I can tell by the names of where the flight took off from and landed.

It's also not an invasion of privacy, unless they asked her to remove the clothing.
