Chargers still need to think about a QB for the future (and TT is not it). Rivers is really on his last legs.

If you consider yourself a super bowl contender - and I think that they do - you want to have a higher end backup.  If Rivers were to miss 4-6 games with injury (very unlikely) and you can't win at least a few of those, that could be the difference between playoffs and not.  And you can't win the super bowl if you don't make the playoffs.

I thought TT wanted to be a starter? There's zero chance of that in LA barring injury.

Meh.  He's probably happy to go sit in the sun and run out the clock.

What he wants to be and what he is has plagued him his entire career.

Remember how all of the national media people were calling us morons for trading him away, then him getting benched almost immediately while Josh Allen started to light it up just a few weeks later?  Suddenly all of those people went silent.  Didn't even eat crow, just pretended it never happened.

Did the Dolphins even make a play at him?  If he turned them down, or if they didn’t try, the dumpster fire is real

Yeah I don't know why anyone would want to go to Miami to get killed. They might as well just stick with Tannehill in their tank year. Let him be the bridge and ride off into the sunset. Otherwise you are eating like a 22 million dollar dead cap hit.

Glad to see him go to Sunny San Diego instead of the Dolphins. For all of his shortcomings as a pure QB, Im glad we dont have to play him twice a year.

I think you mean smoggy LA...
