Expand Possible they could roll a large amount over to next year but there is a rolling 4 year average requirement that each team spend to 89% of cap.

Expand With the exception of Morse and maybe Beasley.......I think they plan to draft what they hope are replacements for most of the UFA's they signed. These dudes are mostly placeholders. If they get lucky and a few of these UFA's make it past year 2 that will be either mean they drafted poorly or those UFA's significantly exceeded reasonable expectations. 3

As the rookies sign contracts they displace another player on the top 51. As it is now the next player displaced on the top 51 list is Wyatt Teller who has a cap hit of 633k. The Bills 2nd 4th round pick (#131) has a cap hit of only 646k. When the dust settles after the rookies all sign it will only cost another 4 million or so in cap space dollars. 2
