transplantbillsfan Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 Man... if it's "judicious" of Beane to go this hard after the 2 most obviously expensive FAs out there, what would a rash decision actually look like for him? Guess they're thinking seriously about cutting Shady, despite saying otherwise.

Which again might be as simple as Bell and his agent recognizing that Buffalo has a lot of cap space so they want to project the idea that they're interested in Buffalo. I took it as, he has an offer from the Bills. 3

That’s a very dangerous backfield, especially if we can sign Williams and draft a guy like Jonah. 1

richNjoisy Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 I can't believe bell is considering the Bills UNLESS the offer is substantial. Upwards of $16 mil per year would be my guess. Antonio just got upwards of $18. Bell is 3 years younger. Different positions, I know, but still a factor.

BuffaloBillsGospel Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 Unless this OL get's at least another player like Darryl Williams or Saffold then i wouldn't like this pickup at all for the Bills. Bell is a lethal RB who can burn you with his legs and his catching ability which is great but he is a RB who waits for a hole to open before he hits it and we have nowhere near that OL... Yet. Yes there is the draft but filling those positions with rookies can sometimes work but most of the time it's a learning process in year 1, just my opinion though, I'd love Bell on the Bills but the OL would need more tweaking.

Putin Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 (edited) I’m kind of warming up to this whole Bell to Buffalo possibility , Jets are trying to build a monster defense , maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to bring a weapon like that to Buffalo? and they still have a 3rd overall pick they will probably get a stud DT , Edited March 12, 2019 by Putin
aristocrat Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 his last season he put up close to 2000 all purpose yards. that is something only a couple guys can do. he is a legit difference maker trading shady for aghalor is almost an even cap hit. might make sense 1
