This is fast becoming one of my fave threads on the interweb.

Would love nothing more than to see the likes of Warren, Griffin, Azlan etc. be seen eating dog food straight out of the tin with rusty spoons, as well as CNN journos permanently reporting from a phone booth in a crack-infested neighbourhood when the final boxscore of this saga is confirmed.

I think this got lost, and in light of the CNN settlement and more people getting served, I thought it deserved a bump.

That it's surely got a bunch of teen bullying Libs fretting and having to dig deep and lawyer up makes it all the more worthwhile.

CNN’s Covington Settlement Shows Danger Of Agenda-Based Reporting

Original Article

Just read the article and had to laugh but not because of the content.

Laughed because though CNN settled, they will continue, as will others being sued, to act and report in their same slanderous partisan manner. They and their ilk don't care about reporting facts only their agenda no matter how many lawsuits are filed against them.

The article had merit but LW media has gone off the rails over Trump.

Makes wonder when Hollywood will make a movie about the bias and fake news at CNN that will rival this year’s Bombshell, a harassment film wrapped inside some gratuitous FOX News bashing. Oh yeah.....never.

JOHN KASS: Column: ‘Richard Jewell,’ Nicholas Sandmann and the media mob.

While watching Clint Eastwood’s great new film “Richard Jewell,” about the heroic security guard of the Atlanta Olympics who saved lives only to be savaged by the media mob, I thought about another innocent.

Nicholas Sandmann, the kid from Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky. He suffered the same kind of agony and humiliation.

It was only a year ago that Sandmann was all over the news, branded as a hateful racist in a MAGA hat. The media got it wrong. Sandmann was in the news again the other day, after CNN settled that $275 million libel suit he filed. Terms were not disclosed.

Jewell and Sandmann were each publicly stripped of their honor through no fault of their own. Yes, “honor” is a terribly old-fashioned word, a bizarre medieval concept to some, but others can’t live without it.

Though the press certainly manages............. Plus:

You remember Sandmann?

CNN settled, but NBC is being sued too, as is The Washington Post and others. Let’s hope the dollar amounts, if any, are made public because, as we’re told, democracy dies in darkness.

Sandmann, then 16, was branded as a racist over a video confrontation with an old man, Native American activist Nathan Phillips, who pounded a drum in Sandmann’s face.

A CNN analyst wanted him punched in the face. Other journalists and commentators at major news organizations, and comics, poseurs and wits, called him terrible names and allowed his reputation to be destroyed.

Leftist mobs in the Twittersphere, that oily sea of anonymous partisan hate, clicked on anything that poured more hate on Sandmann. And journalism, desperate for clicks, served him up.

But Sandmann wasn’t a hater. The haters were a group of angry Black Hebrew Israelites screaming horrible racist and homophobic taunts at the Covington kids and at Native Americans.

Sandmann wasn’t doing any of that. He was just a white kid in a MAGA cap, confronted by the old man with the drum, and he smiled, nervously.

And for that, he was flayed by the media.. All of it could have been avoided by the application of another terribly old-fashioned word: reporting.

Lazy garbage people don’t do much reporting. And that’s what most of the press seems to be composed of these days.

The Covington Kids’ Revenge, One Year Later.

“The mob did not get away with defaming Nick Sandmann. In fact, people victimized by the media’s new normal are now fighting back.”

That CNN has not made any noticeable changes in its obsessive stream of agenda journalism since the original incident a year ago, or since settling with Sandmann, suggests what they paid out is to them a reasonable price to continue to lie to the American public. Most MSM gave the settlement little or no coverage. CNN itself devoted 29 seconds to the story. Like botox, settlements are just another business expense.

If this agenda-driven journalism was limited to individual acts of defamation, such as the Sandmann case, it would be bad enough. But the MSM extend the same thinking to significant geopolitical events, using their vast resources to convince the public that Donald Trump threatens their very existence.

Remember how Trump was going to start global economic war with China, withdraw from NATO, start a wider war in Syria by bombing Russian bases, start World War III with North Korea, sell out the U.S. to get peace with North Korea, start World War III because he is Hitler, start a war over Venezuela, start a genocide of Kurds with Turkey…

I wish I had a punchable face that would land me $25m.  Mine is good for a couple hot dogs from Ted's and a medium Loganberry at best.
