Lorax even commented on how young that side of the team is and how there is maybe a little more develped leadership on the defensive side of the ball. I think the issue was that it wouldn't be a good idea to share the plan. Getting panicked because there might not be a plan when FA has barely begun seems a little extra. The other amazing thing is the Lions signed Amendola and Flowers. Imagine that an ex assistant coach signed some of his former players that he was familiar with. LABILLBACKER Posted March 12, 2019 Share Posted March 12, 2019 (edited) This week is far from over. The Mitch Morse signing will be absolutely huge. Kevin Johnson will be a great depth CB4. Gore is old but his 4.6ypc last year was impressive. If we get 150 carries & 600y out of Gore I'd be thrilled. If Kroft can play like 2017 he'll make a nice TE2. There could be a number of reasons for this signing but I have a hard time rationalizing them. The two things I always liked about him is that he does not fumble and he is a good short yardage back.
