Saxum Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 https://www.profootballrumors.com/2019/02/bengals-notes-eifert-staff-o-line-free-agency Eifert, though, has missed an astounding 34 games since his 2015 Pro Bowl season.
JimKellyTryouts Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 Sal's write up was a little uninspiring... Injuries, overpowered in terms of blocking, won't adjust to poor passes (which Josh needs to work on), etc. I think it's better than the Bengals choosing to resign Uzomah for almost the same amount with much less production when he started, but..my gut reaction means nothing, and I'll hope for the best.

Iamkrgr Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 Quite a bit of money for a guy that hasn't been healthy. Not a fan of this one. Let's see what else they have in store. So far a weak start to free agency.
mjt328 Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 Very similar to the Kevin Johnson signing. He's a young guy who has shown flashes, but has been derailed by injuries. I like these moves as value signings. But $6 million+ per year seems a little high. 1

sven233 Posted March 11, 2019 Author Posted March 11, 2019 Matt Parrino @MattParrino 4m4 minutes ago Matt Parrino Retweeted Ian Rapoport This deal makes Kroft the 15th-highest paid TE in the NFL. Pencil him in as your starter next season, folks. We'll see if he can put up a similar year like he did in '17, catching 42 for 404 and seven touchdowns (that scoring mark would have tied for #Bills team high in '18).
TOboy Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 That’s a lot of money...hoping they aren’t shying away from spending like that on the OL.

Beast Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 Hey, another injury prone TE signing. We had to replace Clay somehow. 1
AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 Just a guy ... not a difference maker. Hoping these aren't the kind of signings we needed to purge the roster for last season 1
freddyjj Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 And OBD will likely draft another 3 phase (Run block, pass block, catch) TE in the draft.
McBean Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 Good thing we are signing durable guys like Trent Murphy and Kroft!
Green Lightning Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 At $6 mil per, they are looking at him as as starter and will draft someone to groom. 1
Pete Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 overpaying again for some chump TE. We lose out on Paradis, Humphries, AB, James, etc. I was hoping to fill in holes with $80 million. Well we got a backup TE, 1st round bust, and old RB to play down 3rd back. WTF? Same old Bills 1
