billieve420 Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Hyde is visiting KC and looks like he may sign there. 1

Duke- Quick acceleration thru the hole, can break it to the outside, excellent hands, runs good routes, patient on screens and gets up the field in a hurry. A really good ball player for sure and would love to have him. 1

Jay_Fixit Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Love Duke. Would be a nice option for Allen out of the backfield. Hyde is meh. No thanks.

In what way is that a bad deal for him? He’s probably not worth the money. If Buffalo gets rid of McCoy, I’d be okay with Duke and a rookie but paying for both he and McCoy would be bad. For one season in which we won’t be spending to cap? Overreact much?

Yep, and the board geniuses know more than one of the more successful franchises over the past five years. Let alone a head coach that can get the most out RBs. Edited March 9, 2019 by YodaMan79

He's ok, but nothing special.
TheBeaneBandit Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 You gotta snag RBs like Hyde within their first 3-5 years. They break down quick.

We all know how well the Tyrod experiment went. For the record, I'm looking at a guy like Hyde to get no more then 100-125 carries. Draft a Rb you think can be a feature back, follow what Cleveland did with Chubb. I don't want McCoy here.

Dorsey finally traded Hyde so Hue was forced to play Chubb. Hyde then went to Jacksonville and basically not play. Hyde is a decent player, but he isn't special either.
bilzfancy Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 I'd go after Tevin Coleman, 25, quick, experienced and is very good catching, good enough to take over from Shady one day 3

Mark Vader Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 I say no to both and bring in TJ Yeldon. Hey @YoloinOhio, after reading this entire thread, looks like I'm not the only Buckeye hater on this board. 1

Been mind blowing how stupid Cleveland was with his career. Now they have 2 full time studs to carry the rock, so he is expendable. This guy will be a steal for someone. You guys remember Priest Holmes in Baltimore BEFORE he went to Cheifs? Mediocre RB who flourished in a better situation. I think Duke can have that type of transition. Not saying he will be as good as Priest was for those Chiefs, but saying I think you will see a major jump in his production too on a team that makes better use of his skill sets. I am ALL FOR trading for him. Obviously, it needs to make sense. I wouldnt be surprised if we could get him for one of our extra 5th round picks or maybe our 6th. RB's just dont hold high trade value. 1 1
