Alphadawg7 Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 How many Safeties are we going to field? We wont be signing any of the big safety names IMO just because they will have plenty of starting opportunities elsewhere, not sure they want to come to a place where we have 2 very good safeties in place already. 2

John from Riverside Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 This really doesnt seem the way we are biulding our defense McD knows how to find secondary players We appear to be going younger on the D side of the ball We have our starting safeties.....and the backups they have been finding actually play well in reserve role
Bangarang Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 What’s there to discuss? We are pretty set at safety.

Rc2catch Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Sure let’s sign a safety on his absolute last legs to a one year deal. Sounds like a great deal to put us over the top. I highly doubt he wants to play for a super bowl contender and he surely wants to join a rebuilding team
BillsFanForever19 Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 We have Hyde and Poyer. Hell, we don't even need a 3rd Vet Safety off the bench because they signed Rafael Bush to a multi-year deal just last season.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 At the right price. He is pretty old but still can play. Rather have Clinton Dix
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 The 2 safeties we have play their roles pretty well - hyde can even move inside and play some nickel if needed. Emergence of Wallace and Johnson last year made the CB group a lot stronger. If you think someone might be an upgrade over Rafael bush in a "big nickel" - then i'd be interested. There aren't cap ramifications if we cut Bush, and or he could play more of a reserve role.
freddyjj Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Pass - dude's like 34 and done. He missed Tyler Boyd on Bengals TD vs Ravens at end of 2017 that got us in playoffs - so thanks for playing

We have something good with Hyde/Poyer and Wallace. Plus, as mentioned, he's old. Edited March 6, 2019 by Houston's #1 Bills Fan
