MrEpsYtown Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Barron was awful in Leslie Frazier's defense in Tampa which prompted his eventual trade. Though he was a safety at the time. Greg Schiano loves him though. I bet he signs with the Patriots. 2

Do the Patriots have enough cap room to sign, trade for, and bring back from the dead all the hundreds of players Bills fans project to them? 1
wppete Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 He might be perfect for the Big Safety McDermott is looking for. If cheap why not give it a chance.
gonzo1105 Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Eric Weddle just got released. Would be way more interested in that tho I’m sure Weddle would want to start. 1
GunnerBill Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 I have zero interest in Barron. I didn't like him when he was drafted and I think he has had more downs than ups as an NFL player. Add in he is getting up there in years and it is a hard pass.
Alphadawg7 Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Free agent safety market is loaded this year. But I doubt we sign one, these guys are gonna wanna start and we got two really good safeties already.

He's a good player but he is a tweener. Too big for safety, too small for LB. McD loves versatility.
Augie Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Whether you like him or not, we have higher priorities.

Logic Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 There's a "cuts around the league" thread at the top of the main page. Perhaps we don't need to start a new thread every time a football player gets released?
