2020 Our Year For Sure Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 8. One of the benefits of having so many coaches with Patriots ties spread across the NFL is the opportunity it can open for former players. One example: Former New England center Ryan Wendell (2009-15) has hooked on with the Bills as an offensive assistant under coordinator Brian Daboll, the longtime Patriots receivers coach. It is Wendell's first NFL coaching job. A similar situation has unfolded in Miami, with former Patriots receiver Tiquan Underwood earning his first NFL job as a quality-control coach on the staff of Flores. http://www.espn.com/blog/new-england-patriots/post/_/id/4816974/bill-belichick-patriots-considering-unique-option-on-coaching-staff?platform=amp 2
JM57 Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Assuming this is filling the offensive assistant role that Chad Hall held before being promoted?

DJB Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Pretty obvious we are going to have similar line play as the Pats with versatile , hard working , intelligent and tough lineman

Great, now we're hiring injury prone coaches! 1 1
MrEpsYtown Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Another former Panther! Rabble rabble rabble! But seriously I like the move. He was a pretty good center for New England a few years ago. If he speaks the same language as Daboll, it can only help.
White Linen Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Who cares. We have meddling owners that have no idea how to run an organization and are cheap.
JustWinPlease Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Mr. Wendell, a man, a human in flesh,But not by law,I feed you dignity to stand with pride,Realize that all in all you stand tall, Go ahead, Mr. Wendell... 1 1

Because given how much we've been dominated by the Pats, I can't see why the Pats would need a mole here. Idk much about him as he's new to coaching, but at this point I say bring in anyone & everyone to help out our line. We're so bad, only way is up from here.

TigerJ Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Buffalo has an O-line coach and an assistant O-line coach. I wonder what his actual title will be.
