Already a rise in pot related traffic mishaps in states such as Colorado.  Probably early yet to know how DUI pot driving impacts serious injuries long term.  A problem is pot on average is far more potent than it was a generation ago.  A person today probably is much more buzzed versus 40 years ago due to supply.

Smoking pot and driving shouldn't be such a bad thing. It's hard to do any damage at 11 mph.

I do NOT condone it.

However, I am truly intrested in microdosing soldiers before combat. I think it could be advantageous.

Right. Nobody has the right to drive intoxicated.

I have friends who swear being high doesnt effect their driving. I will NOT. Nobody has the right to put my family at risk by driving under the influence, and I don’t have that right either. Nobody does.

Some of the elite fighting units take it to increase blood flow while in action.

I never heard of that. I’m not sure that’s true. Especially when there are a plethora of products like NoXplode that do the same thing.

By the way, NoXplode poos are the worst. One second you’re fine, the next you’re about to explode.

Yes, and those people are called "idiots".   I'm sure they also think they drive 'better' after a couple drinks.

It will be hilarious for the Democrats to suddenly 'evolve' their position to be anti-pot.

They state they stay in their lane well, it’s the speed limit that’s the issue. They’ll be driving 25 in a 50.

There you go....pot zones you out, reduces your reflex times.  Not good things when operating several thousand pounds of machinery at high speeds.

Am I missing something, or is this a debate about nothing?

The Feds don't control state drug laws, so what difference does it make what the President thinks about it?

There are Federal laws and regulations to consider.  Granted most of those fall under Congressional jurisdiction.  But in the age of the Obamaian Presidency, legislative authority can be easily overruled by the Pen and the Phone
