 Everytime I see leftists talking politics on TSW it reminds me of this. Skip to 30 seconds in.

The far right depiction in this clip is pretty frigging funny too actually.

I knew this thread would end up in the PPP.

I'm glad the Con Man didn't get the backing (shady loans) to make a legitimate offer.

There's nothing shady with Trump using his gold toilet bowl accounting method to overestimate the value of his brand name.  I'm guessing the Deutsche Bank credit officers had a big laugh when they saw that financial "statement"

Some of you have zero idea what you’re talking about. My father had both top pentagon and CIA clearances. He would have been sent to prison in a heartbeat for what James Comey testified that Mrs Clinton had done. No questions, no debate, just gone!

At one point someone has to realize that broadening the powers of the executive is going to hurt him, by him I mean themselves. The Republicans spent 8 years crying about over reaching executive orders.

Now it is okay that Trump does it in an even more aggressive fashion? A Democrat will be elected again, whether you want to believe it or not, and if they don't become the party of reason. It will get worse. And I don't want to hear any of you cry when they pass more restrictive gun laws on you.

It's bigger than just the moment, it's about precedents. It all has to be taken in consideration, you get some things you dont get everything. And if you get everything, what is the cost? Is it worth it?

Which again this is why I don't go to PPP, because while your responses have been great and i enjoy talking to you. Their is like 5 or 6 posters in that forum who ruin it. It's funny none of them pop up in this thread. That guy you quoted is okay, but you said PPP is good if you can support your points. That post is grade a crap. I'll just leave it at that. You got some KGB clown in their too who talks too much and is always disrespectful. And some other dude who says NY loves to kill babies. That forum is poison.

I think it sums up the position most people have. They don’t like Presidential overreach, but after being served the same ***** sandwich over and over with Obama, they aren’t up in arms.

If you asked PPP if they thought this was Presidential overreach, point blank, you’d probably get half of them to say yes.

I didn’t fault Obama and I don’t fault Trump. Presidential overreach is the symptom not the cause. The problem is that congress refuses to do much of anything except argue with each other over stuff that we all know they actually agree on. Something has to change to upset the status quo.

It doesn’t matter. It’s still not the way this democracy should operate. But the cat is already out of the bag.

I keep looking for the link here in your OP that would support your premise. Normally it's considered proper to provide a link to enable people to intelligently discuss the subject matter.

Oh, and did you notice that none of them...NONE challenged any of Cohen's allegations? Weird, huh?

When someone is making things worse with more lies under oath, and embarrassing themselves and the people who brought them to the party, you step to the side and don't interrupt the clusterfk. You just let it fall apart on it's own.

But thanks for the talking point. You seem to catch MSNBC last night.

Or, perhaps, this declared National Emergency could spur Congress into fixing the NEA which gave 45 (and others before him) the authority to declare such national emergencies.

That would be the adult thing for Congress to do.  Doubt it happens though.

You don't realize how embarrassing leftists are until you see them confuse anger with joy.

Most of us here don't care for Trump, the person. But we love, love, love how me makes leftists like yourself leak your Depends.

It's always so fun when one of them comes out of the woodwork, with blood pressure still as high as two years ago.   I'm sure he's been glued to CNN just waiting for the "beginning of the end"!
