Bill from NYC Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 For the love of God, that is pretty messed up. Have some decency people! The dude didn't kill anyone 290412 Yeah, really! I am all shook up over his death. Can you feel it?
\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 His brain tumor did not quit, so into his casket he must fit. I'm here all night, folks.
Wacka Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Paul Henning, the originator of the Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction died this weekend at 93. He wrote the words for the theme song. Said he got the idea meeting people while camping in the Ozarks.

UConn James Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 For the love of God, that is pretty messed up. Have some decency people! The dude didn't kill anyone 290412 Yeah, he just got the killers acquitted. Big difference, that. And tried to inflame race relations based on lies any chance he got (See: Posthumous Sgt. (Really, a rookie) Cornell Young case in Providence, where the guy, in plainclothes, was too stupid to put his gun down outside of a nightclub. Johnnie was only asking for $25M IIRC.). God knows there's enough real malice and hatred to stamp out that you don't need to puff up the lies. It is for that reason that I am overwhelmingly ambivalent.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Another dead lawyer? Another step forward for civilization!!
Dawgg Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Look, someone had to do it -- and in the case of OJ, I blame the moronic jury. I watched that entire trial and it was pretty obvious the SOB was guilty... what can you do if the jury drinks the koolaid? Cochran was doing his job, and that's that. Yeah, he just got the killers acquitted.290615
Dawgg Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Hmm... I think he's being sarcastic. Yeah, really! I am all shook up over his death. Can you feel it? 290469

Now maybe some of these true criminals will get what they deserve instead of paying a ton of money to a silver tounged laywer to get them off.
Thailog80 Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Another dead lawyer? Another step forward for civilization!! 290622 That's why they bury them 10 feet under instead of six.............because deep down they're really good people.

Thailog80 Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 290653 I thought you'd like that. Im PM'ing you right now.

The prosecution, on the other hand, botched it badly IMHO, not to mention all of the mistakes that the police made during the investigation. Nobody was drinking the koolaid; the prosecution didn't do its job. CW
BRH Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 and Kurt Henning, aka Mr. Perfect, died 2 years ago... coincidence? i think not! 290534 And Doug Henning, the hippie magician, died about five years ago. Yet Dan Henning is still alive.
HtownBillsFan Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 When I first looked at this post, I thought it was a joke. This morning I see on ESPN that he did die of brain cancer. Sad.
