I get that you want to paint a scarlet letter on Kraft but nothing has been resolved. The Lotus Flower probably just opened in-place of the Orchid with the same girls. It is a tragedy of epic proportions but until real punishment is bestowed on all Johns and not just an owner of a major sports organization it is going to be same as it ever was. The people that are making jokes in this thread are the enablers. There is zero humor in this situation.

the scarlet letter has been planted and shall remain for life.  the humor is the IDIOTS who support the trade.

Please don't pretend (at lease with me) that there isn't concern over the slave trade.

I have mentioned it a few times.

This is a National Emergency.

other than taking a girl out on a date

I have never paid for sex and laugh at anyone that does.

A good read....

https://www.complex.com/sports/2013/09/history-athletes-busted-with-prostitutes/james-worthy

I wonder how many prostitutes the "great" 90's Bills were involved with? Hmmmm......

I wonder how many strippers have been "overpaid" by Buffalo Sabres, Bills, Bisons, Braves and Bandits? Hmmm...

Methinks the outrage is mostly fueled by a rabid hatred of the Patriots, and not so much by concern for "human trafficking".

I could be wrong....

No,  you’re not wrong - the thread is most definitely fueled by a rabid hatred for the Patriots, and the hilarity of their 77 year old billionaire owner being stupid enough to put himself in such a situation.

So what?

Again, it's entertainment!  Plus Kraft owns a team in a league that demands its players follow a personal conduct policy or else be punished.  So if they don't follow it themselves, it merits ridicule and scorn.  And the same would apply to an owner of a team that I/we don't hate.

If he was just getting 45 minutes of massage, and a ball rub for the last 15 minutes from a 40 year old  Chinese woman (which is generally the case with these "massage spas") that he paid $50 for at the counter, with $40 for a tip, I really don't see the big deal. If there is more to it, then I am fine with him being held accountable.

My point about the nail salons is that THE SAME WOMEN that work the massage tables, are also working at the salons, giving low cost service to people (mainly women, many of them 'pussyhatters', no doubt) that KNOW full well that they are receiving a service at a "discounted rate", and are just as culpable for exploiting the trafficked women as the guys getting HJ's.

One involves "sex" (cough) at an exorbitant rate, while the other involves a service at a "below market value" rate.

Men/sex

Women/vanity

I'm right.

The big deal is what kind of billionaire is going to a seedy $50 ***** parlor to get tugged off by a middle aged fob?  Why is a billionaire, public figure, risking getting picked up in a vice sting?  That is what poor people do.  This is a textbook case of class appropriation and me and the other poors are outraged!!

It is a misdemeanor folks. If it was anybody but Kraft the thread wouldn’t have made it 10 pages. The moral outrage at him is driven by envy. So if we are to take his football team then should we take every business from every owner that has ever engaged in solicitation? Or just the ones that we can’t beat in football?

My outrage is because he's a fraud, and two-faced scumbag, who also owns a great football team.

Not sure if you intended the “seedy” pun, either way I threw up a little.

Some LPGA golfer’s boyfriend got caught up in this sting too. I’m starting to wonder if maybe this place isn’t some dive but has some real talent. I need pics of the masseuses to be sure.

I remembering being a the bar at the breakers hotel, and someone going out of they way to tell me that during the height of the season, the place is wall to with escorts. I had also heard of the massage parlors as well, but not sure of this specific one. There just seems to be a lot of sex workers in the Jupiter/palm beach area.

No surprise.  Look at all the money in the area.

Weird, I'd have thought there would be more of them in Uranus.

"No...No...You're looking for Mr. Kraft...OK...Bob, it's Liam Neeson on the phone.  He says he doesn't have money, but he does have a very particular set of skills he's acquired over the years...and you are NOT going to like them."

Are you saying that just because one (the spa) sometimes involves a vice crime as part of its "service" those establishments are more likely to get shut down and trafficking exposed?

You bring up a good point about both establishments having  the same problem, but I'm not sure you're right about one being ignored. These three articles are some of the results of a 10 second Google search "trafficking nail salon".  There are plenty more mainstream articles to link.

I didn't say the problem was ignored by authorities. I said it was ignored by the customers of the nail salons.( I didn't think that was hard to gather from what I posted).
