Any guy that walks into one of those places knows exactly what the deal is and generally how those girls got there. This isn't a consensual business transaction with some independent online escort or pornstar (though I assume he was heavily involved in that too).  This is akin to the sexpats that go to Thailand to dip into underage slaves. Sadly, he'll only get a slap on the wrist and be on his way. But make no mistake, despite his riches, he is morally bankrupt.

I agree. He’s a billionaire who paid 79/hr for sex from an Asian girl who reportedly has minimal hygiene at a place next to a Bdubs in a strip mall . Even if he didn’t know before he went the first time.  He was charged with two visits so he went back after seeing it once. This isn’t naivete at place. Are we supposed to believe he’s that stupid that he didn’t know what the deal was at this place? He wasn’t part of the human trafficking but he did contribute to it.

Didn't Jerry Richardson get forced to sell the Panthers over workplace sexual harassment?

...yet Jurrah's sexual harassment allegations disappeared......hmmm........

Good points.  Agree that Goodell has to come down hard on Kraft.  I don't think that any punishment that Goodell comes up with should be dictated by the media.  The media's job is to report...that's it.  I do think the other 31 owner's advice/opinions probably should be sought out as it is a small fraternity and they all have to work together on league issues.  It will be interesting to see the final verdict.  Kraft's star will fall hard, for sure, but I'm not sure he'll be forced to sell the franchise ala Carolina.  Bob Kraft will most likely be banished from the NFL and his son will run the franchise.

Clearly, Brady should be suspended.

I don't think that is remotely true. Sure, the guy is going to know that these women are prostitutes to some degree, and the entire business is shady and sketchy, but not at all that they are victims of human trafficking or slaves or cannot leave the premises. I would imagine the vast majority think that these women are just doing a ***** job that most often includes sex for money, and know what they are doing and getting into.

I mean your average guy going into a place like this. No Kraft. I have no idea what he did or didn't know.

I think that if Jurrah is backed into a corner he has some JR Ewing in him if you know what I mean.

This will be a very interesting thread to revisit when this situation resolves. I think the Patriot hate is fueling some overreactions.

Agreed, manufactured outrage as opposed to level headed rational thought.

Global warming is not what will kill the species, societal upheaval due to social media destroying civil discourse will be our downfall.

By his balls?  Probably would be done at the same brothel that would hook a battery charger to a guy's nads.  I am sure Kraft could make a recommendation on this.

...guess in all honesty, he's a 77 year old widower who lost his wife to cancer and thought he had a main 30 something squeeze on his arm in public....she certainly passed the "gold digger smell test".......probably (COUGH) could have found a more discreet "relief valve" versus this strip mall debacle......

For systemic decades long sexual harassment.

I don’t think he could know the full extent of the horror, but I think at least part of that comes from not wanting to know.

Secure the border and maybe there will be less trafficking...

Can't tell if you're serious, but yeah. In general terms, huge investigations like this help gain more insight into trafficking, which leads to a more secure border.

I believe you pay extra for that......can’t say for sure....I’ll chip in the upcharge for Brady because I’m that kind of guy!

Would be nice, but he's still the face of "The Shield."  It's not Mahomes, not yet, anyway.  I can't wait to see how many draft picks NE gets taken away.

We live in a country of piss poor punishment. Everything is a plea deal and community service. Nothing says recidivism like "I had to pay a fine."

I know from a real standpoint it doesn't work, but what about forced castration on men who use trafficked prostitutes? That'd ruffle some feathers.

That's not necessarily true. Everyone talks about the justice system being biased against minorities, but the real story is that it's biased against those without means. Money can absolutely buy freedom.

It's personal conduct away from the team so it would not be fair to penalize the Pats that way.

True. And we don't really know yet what this place was like or looked like inside (out of the hygiene rumors). If there are girls that look 16 years old in there of course you would think it's 100x more trouble than if they are 30-40. I'm just saying there are tens and tens of thousands of little massage parlors in this country and most of them are pretty legit, a huge number are shady to some degree where you may get some sex in there and a small percentage are actually using slaves and human trafficking. That small percentage is actually a large number because there are so many in total and it's one of the worst things in the world. I'm not in any way saying it doesn't happen or it's okay in any way.

Andy Dufruense could not buy his freedom.
