The charges mean absolutely nothing.

He was actively involved in human trafficking whether or not he was a decision maker in the process. The description of the conditions that these women were kept in alone is enough to make it clear that this isn't a basic prostitution thing. The public optic of this will be huge.

I think we have differing opinions on “actively involved” if all he has done is get a massage with a happy ending

I'm guessing its an Asian massage parlor, which are all associated with trafficking and have been forever... The press act like this is a new industry. Human Trafficking is just the new buzzword for it.

It’s a world wide problem. No one thinks it is a new problem. It succeeds because of men soliciting. Which is what Kraft was doing. This place was in a strip mall and the women lacked hygiene. As you said - not too hard for a billionaire to figure out what the place was doing.

I think you're confusing his knowledge of his involvement with his involvement. Even if he didn't know (which is another conversation) his money was still used for human trafficking. They can't charge him with that unless they prove his intent and knowledge, but the optic of it is still there. He was actively involved in that.

The only thing that matters is the court of public opinion unfortunately.  The NFL and CBS knows that.

Ok.. let’s wait and see what happens..

Specifically paid for it. That's active involvement.

It's not a matter of opinion.

It absolutely is a world wide problem, but did you know of the term 10 years ago? Or even that it was such a problem? I can't even drive a mile where I live without driving past a Asian massage parlor advertising $20 foot massages, etc... People are horrified when they read about it or hear it on the news, but don't give a crap when its happening right in front of their oblivious eyes.

Every year we hear about the FBI and other groups busting huge rings that were opperating around the Superbowl- to my knowledge, the NFL has never done much or said much in relation to this? - that being said, this will likely become a thing.

If a Running back can be exiled for fighting with a woman who was an active participant in the fight, why is it hard to imagine an owner getting exiled for this? I feel that the double standard on that would give weight to the "rich white owners and their black slaves/players" narrative that many like to push.

I for one am sick of seeing this guy and his son get stroked by the sports media.  I'm gonna bet the old man steps aside and junior takes over.  Let's hope that they follow the same path as the Raiders.

I don't think the "sports media" was doing the stroking in this case...
