Canadian Bills Fan Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 A guy who put up HOF worthy numbers but didn't do anything after that. I say Barnidge
CoachT Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 I forget his name but the white RB for the Browns. 2
Big Turk Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 (edited) CJ Spiller has to be up there...dude was literally unstoppable for a season and averaged 6 YPC and had almost 1700 yards from scrimmage, then never recaptured it. These highlights are just mesmerizing...his speed is unbelievable at times...literally looks like Barry Sanders with some of the starts and stops... Gailey might not have been much of a head coach but his ability to get players in space and his screen game were just something special to behold... Edited February 19, 2019 by matter2003 9 1 2 6

Notable mentions for one year wonders I can think of: RB - Bobby Humphrey QB - Don Majkowski QB - RG3 RB - Ickey Woods QB - Our own Derek Anderson (Browns) TE - Gary Barnridge RB - Trent Richardson RB - CJ Spiller Browns seem to be the home of one hit wonders lol Edited February 19, 2019 by Alphadawg7 3
Straight Hucklebuck Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 (edited) Larry Johnson has two incredible years, 1,700 yards each season. Then he broke down. Jamaal Anderson of the Falcons David Boston Josh Gordon had 1,600 yards in 14 games and has never been as good again Mike Turner in Atlanta died out quickly - I stand corrected, he had 3x 1,000 yard seasons Peerless Price Case Keenum Robert Griffin III Justin Blackmon could have been good. Big Turk Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 (edited) Add to this list...Matt Cassell with Chiefs when he made the Pro Bowl and threw 27 TDs against 7 INTs and Matt Flynn with GB for 4 games where he had a 124.8 QB Rating that got him a big contract in Seattle but he lost the starting job to Russell Wislon in his rookie season... H2o Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 Reggie Brooks / RB / Washington Redskins - Jerome Bettis' backfield mate at Notre Dame had 1,063 yards his rookie year in 1993 averaging 4.8 per carry then vanished. Out of the league 3 years later. 1
row_33 Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 Billy Sims, but he had 3 solid seasons, still the biggest loss of my watching the NFL

Am I crazy or are like half of these ineligible man downfield? 1
C.Biscuit97 Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 And Jamal Anderson. Carried a whatever Falcons team to the SB by setting a nfl record of carries and was never the same. He should sue the Falcons. 1
row_33 Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 can we change the title to "great players who didn't have a long career"
