C.Biscuit97 Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 Injuries took their toll but I never got the hate. He will be a solid/ move TE for them. Good for Clay and a nice addition for Rosen. 6 1 4

RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 He can drop TDs for Rosen all he likes. 3 9 3
KGun12TD Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 Another coach will be fired after one year.
RiotAct Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 watch him have a Tony Gonzalez-like season for them now. 2
Johnny Hammersticks Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 Oh no! Now he’s magically going to be Tony Gonzales. Yeah right. Good luck Charles...you were never as good as your contract (not your fault) and you suck at staying healthy. 1 1
GunnerBill Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 He is finished. His body has given up. I still say he will be out of football in September. 3

Not big, not especially fast, not a good receiver, reputation as a good determined blocker. Not his fault Rex and Whaley overpaid to get him, but as time went on he pretty quickly didn't even look average out there. No clue how this helps Rosen at all. BuffaloHokie13 Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 Why would they sign Clay? Seals-Jones is a way better weapon!!! /s 1

Coach Tuesday Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 I am surprised a corpse can get $3.5M even in this day and age.

John from Riverside Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 Dont get the hate....he is a former bill His production was way down last year......maybe he finds the fountain of youth....maybe he does not. I cant miss a player too much that was not on the field for us this year 2

Good for Clay and a nice addition for Rosen. His injuries are chronic. He can’t practice and his skills are diminishing as demonstrated last year when he was a healthy scratch on several occasions.. There is no reason to think he will be improved in 2019 and he certainly wasn’t worth paying $4.5 mil.. 1

Um, he would led us in receiving with a qb who hated throwing in the middle of the field. He is also versatile and a good blocker. he was a borderline top 10 TE when we got him. He’s not the same player but you could do a lot worse as your second TE. 7 minutes ago, teef said: I’m more concerned about the moon colliding into the earth than I am about this happening. Of course if this happens, the Clay monster season would be the least of our concerns. 1

I hope he does well. I have no ill will affair the guy. He’s just not who he once was.
