Injuries took their toll but I never got the hate.  He will be a solid/ move TE for them.  Good for Clay and a nice addition for Rosen.

He wasn't for Allen.  Why for Rosen?

"Hate" is a bit strong, but he had pretty poor hands from my admittedly rough estimation.  Never seemed to make the tough catch in his years with Taylor.

Not big, not especially fast, not a good receiver, reputation as a good determined blocker.  Not his fault Rex and Whaley overpaid to get him, but as time went on he pretty quickly didn't even look average out there.

No clue how this helps Rosen at all.

watch him have a Tony Gonzalez-like season for them now.

I’m more concerned about the moon colliding into the earth than I am about this happening.

He’s a 2nd TE.

Cards looking to stay up in the top of the draft board for 2020 apparently.

His injuries are chronic.

He can’t practice and his skills are diminishing as demonstrated last year when he was a healthy scratch on several occasions..

There is no reason to think he will be improved in 2019 and he certainly wasn’t worth paying $4.5 mil..

Um, he would led us in receiving with a qb who hated throwing in the middle of the field.  He is also versatile and a good blocker.

he was a borderline top 10 TE when we got him.  He’s not the same player but you could do a lot worse as your second TE.

Of course if this happens, the Clay monster season would be the least of our concerns.

I hope he does well. I have no ill will affair the guy. He’s just not who he once was.
