The Frankish Reich Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 (edited) We have a rising sophomore QB who, in the midst of a pretty crappy rookie year, showed signs of great talent that he is only beginning to harness! We have a guy who sat out a year after being dumped by 2 (3?) other NFL teams as a backup!! And we have a 36 year old guy signed off the street who played like a 56 year old guy signed off the street to mentor them!!! We live in the best of all possible worlds ... Kelly the Dog Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Absolutely. We have a solid young starter and a lousy veteran backup, especially if Barkley is the #2. We are in better shape than a lot of teams, only because of the future of the starter.
papazoid Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Some of the accuracy issues still can be pinned on Allen; a league-high 23.7 percent of his attempts (excluding throwaways and spikes) were off target, according to ESPN Stats & Information. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/25998951/how-nfl-worst-quarterbacks-improve-2019 ouch !
papazoid Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Over the final six games of 2018, Josh Allen was the No. 1 fantasy quarterback in the NFL. True. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/top-ten-late-bloomers-of-2018/ar-BBTPwA3?ocid=spartanntp
