On a serious note, Spotify (and the like) is the greatest thing to happen to music since the Beatles. It exposes you to so many current artists that are putting out brand new music you actually want to listen to. Rock isn't dead. It's just not the popular kid anymore. the Ipod was in between the Beatles and Spotify which wasn't much too late for me

The Poojer Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 I know i have touted them before, but WXPN here in Philly has been the biggest influence on my musical adventure since my teenage formative years, they keep me current and also throw in a bit of 'classic' stuff just to keep me grounded. There really is a ton of music out there, granted if you are looking for newer versions of the old, then you might be disappointed but things from Father John Misty, to Brandi Carlile, Margo Price, Phoebe Bridgers, Dr Dog etc....all incredible music, hardly any of it mainstream. I suggest you find your local listener supported independent music station and discover all that is out there. 48 minutes ago, LeGOATski said: We're just living in a big simulation, man.... row_33 Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 on a review at least they gave The Beatles awards for Hard Day's Night and Sgt Pepper, but Revolver was surpassed by a Herb Alpert album...

That being said, was so happy for Kacey Musgraves and Brandi Carlile with their Grammy awards, very well deserved It was driving me crazy when Greta Van Fleet started getting airtime around here. Every single time a station would play them, it would be immediately after a Zeppelin song. Yes, lazy radio station, we get it.
