The week before he was terrible against the Patriots..........so it's not like there was some kind of measurable linear progress. Though it's fun to try to project strong end of season production into the following year...........if you went by that than you'd have thought Tyrod was bound for huge things following his final performances of 2015 and 2016 where he and Watkins sank Revis Island and then set the franchise single game offensive yardage record against the Dolphins. It's fun to go out on a high note but brief flashes at the end rarely indicate anything about the following year. Unfortunately that's been demonstrated many times. Although, I will say where it's true, it's often accompanied by a coaching or scheme change (or both) which renders any learning that took place the previous season meaningless. At least Edmunds will have the same scheme to come back with. As far as "measurable linear progress" I don't understand how that term has meaning when playing against different opponents with different levels of coaching and playing skill. The fact that Edmunds was exploited by Belicheck - well, some damn fine defensive players get exploited by Belicheck, that's all. The bottom line about all the Bills players is we'll have to wait and see. 1 1

Bank on it,he'll be no higher than 4th on the flanker depth chart next year,if he is higher than #3,Beane didn't do his job. This offense needs to load up this spring/summer...I want a team that is a threat to put 30 points on the scoreboard every week. Not for nothing, but Foster mostly lined up at Split-End, not flanker...

His base salary is jumping about $9M this season so maybe the Panthers would be open to moving him. What are the Bills giving up for him? Edited February 8, 2019 by Aussie Joe

BillsFan2313 Posted February 8, 2019 Posted February 8, 2019 I stopped going through this draft when I saw it was from Chris Trapasso. He is horrible. That means I didn't go through any picks.
LSHMEAB Posted February 8, 2019 Posted February 8, 2019 Beane is clearly the best UDFA guy of all time. Maybe we should trade all our picks for players and let him focus on the guys who won't get drafted.
