/dev/null Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 Was Super Bowl LIII the most boring Super Bowl ever? Even the ads seemed kinda disappointing
Gugny Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 The ads sucked. I heard the halftime show, but didn't see any of it; but it sounded like it sucked. The game, however, was great (in my opinion). 1
Foxx Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 the Patriots suck. even when they suck, they win. someone wake me from this nightmare 1 2
Samwell Tarly Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 No, the Niners / Chargers blowout was worse. San Diego was dead before the end of the first Quarter. Also Niners blowout of Denver was a joke. Seattle's destruction of Denver also not entertaining. Plus the First Bills/ Dallas super bowl was excruciating. More fun when it's actually a contest, even a low scoring one. 4 1
Another Fan Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 The Giants/Ravens one from 2001 was pretty boring. I wouldn’t be surprised if ratings for the NFL are down next year. I mean who wants to see the Patriots keep winning outside of their fan base? 1

No this was worse, it never was a contest, was never going to be one, at least during the blowouts one team was playing good offense... was their any doubt once the Russians/Trump got to Gurley... 1 1
ExWNYer Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 It felt like the most boring but that is probably due to 'recency bias'. Certainly, the 'Super Blowouts' were awful, as well. The game was definitely frustrating. I felt like I was watching a Bills vs Pats* game where it's close on the scoreboard but you just know that there is no way in the world that the Bills will ever win and, in typical NE* fashion, they add a late score to erase any doubt. I picked the Rams to lose and thought the game would go under (not by that much) but, overall, the entire night was a disappointing letdown , IMO. 2

Fr. Jerk Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 No, the Seattle blowout over Denver was worse. But this was pretty bad.

SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 It sucked because the Cheats were in it Zero excitement unless you were a PED Pats fan 1
FeelingOnYouboty Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 That was awful. We really missed out on Chiefs v Saints

That one was pretty enjoyable, watching Peyton Gump (the Big Game Chump) go down in flames. Remember back in the day, when some people would say he’s better than Brady? Yesterday’s game was good, love seeing tough defenses that hit hard. Edited February 4, 2019 by Rico 1

YodaMan79 Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 My instant reaction was that is was boring. But, I remember a lot of blowout SBs that were over by the end of the 2nd quarter. While i didn't enjoy the game, it was suspenseful in the sense either team could have won going into the 4th quarter. The game felt like it couldn't get started, with the offenses stuck in neutral. I agree with the individuals that stated the real SB was two weeks ago.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 I LOVE the fact that all the offense-first people hated it. Love that. This is how football's meant to be played, on a razor edge with NO margin for error. 6 1
Buffalo03 Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 I think it was the most boring. The next I would have to say was the Ravens and Giants in SB XXXV
nucci Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 losing 52-17 was kinda boring...especially the 2nd half
entropyrules Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 The Pats win confirmed my atheism..definitely no god in the universe or one that's not totally perverse
