richardb1952 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Great year for Mahomes. I'd still keep Allen, Tra White and Edmunds over Mahomes as it turned out. I think both teams won on that trade but only the future will tell if it was the right choice for the Bills. 1
TheFunPolice Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 He played a great Pro Bowl game! Tonight he'll watch the game just like Josh Allen. 1

Oh god i hate that he was right. Edited February 3, 2019 by 1963Billsfan7
Jrb1979 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 After reading a lot of the responses in this thread a lot, why do so many of you want to downplay how good Mahomes is? Is it to try to make you feel better that the Bills missed out on a franchise QB? 3

Your'e a dreamer if you think Allen(if he was on KC) would have a season anywhere close to what Mahomes just had. Not in a 100 years. Not in a 1000 years. lol 3
Boca BIlls Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Glad the bills could gift KC with a MVP QB... ?
TheFunPolice Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 The regular season is like preseason now. At the end, the same old unathletic QB who throws 5 yard passes to wide open 5'11" WR all game wins because none of these super athletes get it done when it matters and nobody can shut down Edelman when superstar WR on the other team end the game with 2 catches

TheFunPolice Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 So throw for 5000 yards, boat loads of TD... When matters most these guys disappear

When they had a chance to go into the half tied 7-7 he completely missed a RB that was so wide open that Kelce was already celebrating the TD mid throw Then he took a horrible sack and instead of 7-7 KC punted and the half ended 14-0 This has nothing to do with Allen. It's about the super MVP QB who every year does so great then the team that runs the ball up the middle 85 times and throws to the RB all day is the unstoppable offense while Mr. Mr. MVP gets a nice little award on Saturday night Edited February 3, 2019 by TheFunPolice

Mahomes lead a team into overtime against the Patriots. Mahomes first year as starter. He played big.

You sound like a moron. You are praising a qb who completed 52% of his passes and didn’t even make any all MWC teams while trashing a guy who scored 31 points in an afc championship game and just won MVP. Seriously, you make no sense and it’s embarrassing.

What a loser. just because some of you are homers, it’s ok not to be completely irrational. The Chiefs would laugh at us if we offered Allen, White, and Edmunds for Mahomes. Every other fanbase would laugh at people saying Allen would do the same thing if they switched teams. Allen couldn’t even dominate at Wyoming. allen hopefully will become a good QB some day but he needs to be a mvp type to justify this trade. We traded up to draft Josh Allen and Zay Jones instead of just staying put, not giving up draft picks, and taking Mahomes and JuJu. Trust the process!!! 1

Your speaking in complete hindsight. And your point is? Bottom line is that they should have taken him, and not traded the pick to KC. Mahomes will be a 'franchise' QB (barring injuries), and that trumps getting an extra pick or two, if you don't have one to begin with. It's not the first mistake the Bills have made drafting, by any stretch, but it could still go down as one of the biggest. There was a golden opportunity to get a franchise QB a year earlier, that was spurned. I'm not comfortable about that, at all. Seems to me like poor management. And it's on McDermott. 1
