I think this is only mock I've seen with a QB pick. Most would see this as a wasted pick, but I would say it would be smart in Round 4 or later. We always admire other teams that draft QBs even though they have franchise QBs, but now we think we have a franchise QB, but we really don't know. Allen's mechanics are sometimes EJ like, and he is an injury waiting to happen, again EJ like. I wouldn't be surprised if the following are on Bean's radar: Minshew (Wash St), Thorson (NW), and McSorley (PennSt). If Murray is still there in round 3, we must get that dude. Again, I think it would be smart to draft a QB. 1

He’s likely to flame out but IF you strike lightning in a bottle you are set. I wouldn’t take a high floor/low ceiling QB. You can always find those guys. I would want a toolsy prospect.

Logic Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Am I the only one who finds these Mock draft generators to be a little unrealistic? I always see people winding up with three 2nds, three 3rds, three 4ths, as well as getting players in the middle rounds that have no chance of falling that far. Perhaps the player rankings update and become more realistic as the draft approaches? 1

Agreed with the ones that have multiple early round picks, where they move down three spots in the first. it’s just manipulation of a pretty basic IT program to achieve an unrealistic result..I don’t really see the point..
