Derek Anderson - Bills #3 QB

Jordan Palmer - Allen’s personal QB coach

Jim Bob Cooter - Former Lions OC/QB coach

Ken Dorsey - App State OC

Bill  Lazor - Former Bengals OC/QB coach

Bill Musgrave - Former Broncos/Raiders OC

Shane Waldron - Coaches with  McVay

Hmmm

DA costs the team a roster spot.  JP does not.

Cooter (Stafford) and Lazor (Datlon) seem intriguing / interesting

Just a thought, but is it possible that Culley was told the Bills were making a move at QB coach, and that's why he made the jump to the Ravens?

My vote is for Kyle Orton

Hofher was QB when I was at Cornell.

One of my best friends was recruited by George Seifert.

I’m pretty sure I’m much older than you, unless you played for Bob Blackman.

What years did you play for the Big Red?

.

Was he saying he played for Cornell or Lazor?  Lazor was the QB of the Big Red when I was an undergrad there, between ‘90-94; not sure if he was there the exact same time or just overlapped a few years.

Can’t really tell.  Lazor played QB for Cornell when Hofher coached there, so I’m a bit unsure what he’s saying, other that he was an assistant for Hofher at UB.

...from "The Waltons", right?.......

Believe it or not, I don’t think I ever saw an episode. But it’s still just fun to say!

Anderson or Palmer seem logical.

Might do Allen more harm than good to have someone totally new put a fresh set of ideas in his head or try to tweak his actions.

Josh has done well to get through his mentoring period with Peterman.

It seems to me IMHO that Josh made his biggest strides during his down time after the Texans game under the tutelage of DA. It was evident upon his return he looked more confident and decisive.

If it ain't broke.....

Marty Mornhinweg

Mornhinweg, 56, has extensive experience in two categories: coaching offense and quarterbacks and coaching with McDermott. Both spent 2003 to 2010 with the Eagles while both were in various assistant roles. Mornhinweg was most recently with the Baltimore Ravens where he helped bring along rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson. He also has experience as a head coach, spending 2001-02 as the lead man for the Lions. Quarterbacks Mornhinweg has worked with include Steve Young, Brett Favre Donovan McNabb, Michael Vick, and Joe Flacco.

And yet here you are...posting on it....

Interesting.

I don't start multiple threads a day and post thousands of times a year.  Those that do need to get outside or, as I said, find something else to do.

Welcome aboard noob.

I think Dorsey and Palmer are the frontrunners.

Maybe Morhningweg who was named in another article.

Anderson is definitely the interesting dark horse.

Palmer and Anderson are definitely interesting candidates it's just hard to asses where they'd be on the list when we don't even know if they'd be willing to transition from their current roles to being a coach.

Despite what is most likely to happen, I'm going to go out on a pretty extended limb here and say we should go after Romo for QB coach/offensive assistant, have him contribute to developing Allen and simultaneously call every single one of Belly's plays before they even happen (or the rest of the NFL)...if nothing else just bring him in to scheme against these teams.

I coach with one of Lazor's old college buddies; was even in his wedding. He seems like a pretty smart guy that I woudn't mind having at 1 BD.

I wouldn't be surprised if they go after Palmer though.

I don't think Palmer wants to be hired as a full-time coaching assistant.
